The customer service experience I had with the Sales Department was exceptional, and wonderful!! My car salesman, Juan and the Finance Manager, Fernanda were wonderful and went out of their way to make the deal happen for me! I will forever be grateful and thankful for their services and support they provided me during a very difficult time in my life. Long story short, I purchased a Land Rover from another dealer over 3 years ago and the car’s break system completely collapsed on me recently in September 2023; and the car became un-drivable; which also meant the car would be un-sellable unless I got the problem fix which was going to be over $12,000. I definitely was not going to pay that repair cost and my extended warranty expired last December. I went to Land Rover Boston and Juan from the very first day to the end was very helpful, patient, and resourceful. He had patience with me and was very empathetic and sympathetic to my specific situation. One of the things I appreciated the most is the fact that he wasn’t to eager to sell me a car and make a commission. He didn’t care about his commission and his focus was getting me into a new safe car that wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg and one that I would love; and oh boy did he deliver on this! This is a rare characteristic to find in a sales person and I am so happy he greeted me when I first went to the dealership. I first talked to Juan in August 2023 and went back in December 2023 to make the purchase because I was on the fence and wasn’t sure if I was going to do a trade yet. Juan got approval and the dealership paid off my loan for my old car!! I was so happy and grateful because I did not want to carry that negative equity to my new car loan because the monthly payments would be sky high. The Finance Manager, Fernanda, worked diligently and got me approved by a bank, a bank I financed from previously, and lowered the MSRP for my new car so that the loan would get approved. She also cut $1,500 from the extended warranty package so that the bank would finance the warranty with the car loan. Somehow, she also managed to get the bank to lower my interest rate between 5-7%!!I have brought cars before from different dealerships but I have never had this kind of excellent customer service before. I have recommended them to my friends and family. I am so happy with my purchase and I am now a customer for life! I will definitely go back when I’m ready for another car! I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.

I drove down from Vermont to purchase a 2015 VW Beetle. The car was in showroom condition, Jonathan was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The sales process was handled quickly and I was soon headed back to Vermont. Great price! No comparison to going into a new car dealership. I will return for my next car.

We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

I’m always pleased with the service department at Prime Toyota especially Joe Walsh. He gets me in and out in a timely manner and explains everything and lets me know what step they are on. He was even able to take care of my recall during this service. Thanks again

I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

Matt is Excellent. Outstanding customer service he is knowledgeable and quick and made the buying process a breaze. He went out of his way to make our experience the best it could be and stayed late to make sure my Wife could take hers home same day. I bought 2 cars in two separate trips on Saturday in the time it would take to buy one at other dealerships. I bought a brand new Toyota Highlander platinum hybrid, 2022. I’ve owned Mercedes and a whole bunch of other cars but the noise from this literally hurts my ears. Really sucks because I wanted to keep this car forever but now I wanna get rid of it because the low bassy vibration is absolutely terrible. I have seen some people talking about a foot to radiator seal, hoping that might help. I want to fix this but its some serious xxxxxxxx. I like bass but this suckd toyota… 😢

My mother recently rented this car for a family vacation to West Virginia and it was amazing! Excellent mileage for an SUV its size. Great performance. Tons of safety features (which is a VERY GOOD thing). Beautiful acceleration. The only problem we had was with the fact that the car will adjust the speed depending on the cars around it (or something like that), but it only happened when cruise control was on. It was overall a very nice car and we are actually planning on purchasing one soon.

Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

Great 3-row hybrid. Very reliable. Very comfortable. Lots of cargo space, especially with the third row seat down. Put down the second row and cargo space is enormous. Good gas mileage for a 6-cylinder. Nice pick-up for an SUV. Would definitely buy another Highlander

I bought my 2022 Highlander SE in November 2021 when selections were limited. It was not my first pick after researching and not my preferred color. I financed outside of Toyota and received a much better interest rate and my credit union said I was paying more than a reasonable price. But I was desperate and needed to new vehicle. I will see if the resale value keeps up with current value. So far it has performed well with a slight exception for the all wheel disk brakes. Sometimes I hear noises from the rear when backing out of my driveway when applying brake pressure. Also braking while driving seems a little soft and squirrelly. Just doesn’t feel quite right. The technology options are too numerous to mention and still learning but love the blind spot notification features. Fuel mileage is good compared to my V8 but performance is lacking even with sport drive feature selected. And in reference to one of the other reviews, the console storage is deep but too narrow. Overall I am enjoying my Highlander very much. I haven’t made a road trip in it yet so we will see. I can say it is a great family vehicle for short trips around town where a lot of start stops occur.

Two weeks ago we found a Jeep Rubicon on their lot that we liked, low-mileage with lots of pricey off-roading upgrades that made the price seem reasonable. My husband was thrilled. We decided to make the two hour drive from Southern Vermont, and were greeted warmly on arrival. We had easy rapport with Ted, and excellent conversation during the long financial process with Zach (okay, if I’m honest it was only long because we couldn’t stop talking). Three days later we returned to pick up the Jeep, which needed an O2 sensor. A couple days later my husband noticed the Jeep didn’t have a muffler - someone had taken it out and their mechanic apparently missed it - the sound hadn’t changed from our first visit and test drive. Fortunately, a quick phone call sorted it all out. All in all we’re very satisfied with our experience despite being a little surprised such an obvious piece, needed for inspections throughout New England, would be missing from the vehicle. However, their assurance that they must sell an inspection-ready vehicle, and quick action to right the issue saved their review, and our overall impression. Thanks, guys! We can’t wait to get out on the class 4s!

Zero problems in 8 years ownership. Very comfortable. Still looks brand new. My next car will definitely be another Highlander, perhaps a 2025 Highlander Hybrid.

Great used cars with low miles..... My daughter bought a used rav4 and KEVIN was great as well as Dave. I would definitely recommend Wellesley Toyota and buy a 2 year old and let someone else pay for depretiation .....lol

I had to have a key programmed.. i needed a second one. I had a good experience with my coordination, Nate, from Danvers, MA..He made sure the key was working! He also told me I needed a battery for my old remote! I enjoyed my latte!!! My only beef was the expense of the key, the labor didn?t go up which. I appreciate! I also love the free inspection to see if the auto needed anything. I understand we are all in the same boat with expenses but I feel in this economy, I will have to look for a good cost for myself instead of assuming I?m getting a reasonable deal!

Overall a good reliable 3-row SUV, with a comfortable ride, decent trip mileage, and good acceleration (good power train. Negatives are a poorly designed A/C condensor (Rocks kicked up will punture it releasing all the coolant) and very high wind noise at freeway speeds (hard to talk, radio has to be turned up very high).
