I read the cars.com review. Faulted for not having air suspension. It doesn't need it. The ride is amazing. Has Toyota quality so factor our repairs that you will be spending in time and money on the others. Especially the Mercedes and Range Rover. Resale is far better. Another savings. Front seat needs adjustable seat cushions for longer legs.

I have owned this for 157k miles to date, we have driven cross country multiple times and it has given us ZERO issues. Been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, and is better in every single way than our previous 2003 Land Cruiser. I love this thing. Only complain is the cheap steering wheel leather that flakes off. I have zero plans to sell our family hauler.

I bought this truck in 2003 with 35,000 miles on it and it has never let me down. It will not stop! The body is still in pretty good shape (just a little rust starting up under the lip of the upper rear window by the tail gate latch.) I change the oil once a year (I have forgotten a couple of times and gone two years.) I take it off-road, on long trips, and it is also my daily commuter car. I have no complaints.

I recently traded in my 2016 Jeep and leased a 2025 Tacoma. I bought this vehicle for it's reliability and its snow and off-road capability. I wanted a vehicle I could take on fire roads but nothing extreme. The vehicle is so capable that I never had to use low range or its various off-road modes. What I found is that most of my driving was on the freeway to get to skiing and backroads in the Rocky Mountains. The vehicle is not a great highway cruiser constantly shifting up grades, fuel mileage was at best 18 MPG on road trips, the constant body motions (left, right, fore and aft) and road noise. For my mostly highway driving the Land Cruiser was a bit taxing. Decibel readings on various road surfaces with new Michelins was 80-82 versus my new ram truck at 70-72 db. That's a significant difference. In the end, if you're using this vehicle most at lower speeds and don't care about gas mileage this vehicle is one of the best. For me, it was a bit too much.

Our land cruiser got close to a house fire. It melted the front and we still drove it home. Best car I have ever had. The insurance totaled it. Trying to find parts to repair it. Front melted off. Literally.

This baby is the EXEMPLARY 4x4. Sexy good looks, a mighty 4.7L Cast Iron Block DOHC 32V V8, and one of the most capable 4wd systems ever. This car is reliable enough to go to the sun and come back. The leather interior is comfier than a La-Z-Boy recliner. The ride is whisper quiet, but then again, you do get a bangin' 12 speaker JBL sound system with an in-dash 6 disc CD changer and a tape deck. Sure, you do have the Toyota Sequoia, but do you really wanna look like a tired, bald, defeated 47 year old man?

Own 2 Toyota Land Cruisers. OwnED a Range Rover. Land Cruiser far surpasses Land Rover Range Rover in durability, longevity, and value. LC rarely have problems but are easy and affordable to maintain and fix if something happens
