I owned the previous Mirai and all I can say is the new one is a significant step up. Dont get me wrong - the previous version was superb, but Toyota have tried to fix every quibble. The new version is slick to look at and drive with a highly equipped and state of the art cockpit with smart styling. Limited Edition that I have has a massive sunroof, heads-up-display and lots of titillation. Sportier exterior, larger feel and outstanding handling - better than sports vehicles I have driven. I was in the market for the new Sienna XSE with some upgrades and couldn't find what I was looking for. I was in contact with A LOT of dealerships and they were just awful. I finally called Longo and was able to reserve a Sienna XSE that was coming from the factory, with the package that we wanted. David Fearn was awesome, he was understanding and helpful. We had a lot of question due to our previous experience and he was more than happy to help us. When the vehicle arrived we were a little afraid it would be sold from under us but again David was understanding and reassured me it would not. So we were able to relax and come in on our day off. I believe we spent about an hour finalizing everything and then drove home in our new Sienna. Its was such a quick and amazing experience, I definitely recommend Longo to anyone looking for a new Toyota.

I had a terrible accident on 3/11/2022 with my 2021 Toyota Mirai. The other car ran red light and at high speed (much above 50 miles) came right for my driver side door, hitting my car so hard and pushing me to the passenger side. My car was totaled, while the other car caught fire on the spot (on impact). I was dragged out of my Mirai, with moderate wounds. Would have been worse if the car wasn't strongly built to absorb such impact. Thank you Toyota Mirai for your protection and saving my life.

Great dealership but do not believe the hype on the Mirai! Often impossible to get fuel in the San Gabriel Area. Stations are off line more often than not. It is like living during the oil embargo of the 70's with no end in sight. Spend hours looking for a station, you find one online and wait for another hour, only to experience a mechanical issue. Great car just can't drive it.

My experience there was good. I went to go look at a honda accord. But I felt in love with the Toyota Camry. Everyone was nice and offered me and my mother water. I really appreciate that everyone there has good customer service.

Owning a Mirai is an adventure. First of all, understand that you are not buying a gasoline vehicle with stations at practically every corner. Secondly, there's a reason these cars are priced the way they are, because ownership requires a bit of patience and flexibility. As a previous owner of a 2010 Toyota Prius, the Mirai was a step up in performance and technology. The car comes with practically every feature you would want in car including heated seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, and satellite radio. The car has more responsive acceleration than the Prius. Over the months that I've owned the car, I've received several compliments regarding the futuristic exterior styling. The only real downsides are the smallish trunk and the lack of a physical spare (it comes with a tire repair kit). Also of note is that the vehicle only seats four people. Even before the generous fuel subsidy provided by Toyota, it is one of the least expensive sedans on the market today (it's often cheaper than a Corolla, which doesn't come with many of its features). Unlike EV charging stations that seem randomly placed, hydrogen fueling stations are strategically placed and cover residents of the Greater Los Angeles area and the San Francisco Bay Area fairly well. If you live or work in the Inland Empire, you might want to wait for a few more stations to open. Refueling requires a bit more planning than a gas powered vehicle because the infrastructure is still in its infancy, so don't wait until the last minute to fill up. PLEASE NOTE: Before you purchase this vehicle make sure there are at least two hydrogen fueling stations near your residence and/or work, because stations do go offline regularly for maintenance or to replenish fuel supplies. The vehicle is relatively low maintenance and inexpensive to maintain, but every 35,000 miles the ion filter needs to be replaced, which will set you back about $600 or so. If buying a used vehicle around 35,000 or 70,000 miles, check to see if the ion filter has been replaced and factor that into your decision.
