After 15 years with my previous Tacoma TRD Offroad, I bought the same vehicle to replace it. I really wasn't ready to replace it but the 24's don't excite me with the 4 cylinder turbo and I figured the longer I wait, the harder it would be to find a discontinued 6 cylinder in new condition. I got lucky and found a 3 month old 23 with 1,400 miles on it. I think Toyota screwed up with the 24 models, they cheapened them in many ways, crap engine, thinner frame, less underbody protection. Basically, they made them for people who don't want or need a truck but like the image.

Remote connect is cool. But it does not reporting your windows are open. Secondly if the car has started remotely and you open the doors. Car shuts off. They say it’s a safety feature. It’s not because I’m 2024 models that problem is not present

As a long time Ford truck owner I became disappointed in the direction they were headed along with some reliability issues going into 2024. Hello Tacoma. But after pricing out the 2024 Tacoma 4x4 the way I wanted it and adding in dealer markup with the wait time I decided to explore the 2023. I cast a wide net and found exactly what I wanted in a full loaded 2023 Tacoma 4x4 Sport in RED owned by St Cloud Toyota dealership in Minnasota. Purchased thru Waite Park Auto & Sport with Travis and Mitch handling the sale to me. By FAR the BEST automobile purchase experience to date. I have bought and sold over 40 vehicles since 1972. They both exceeded my every expectation. I flew NY to MN and drove the truck back 1400 miles to Rowe MA. What a great truck and I expect it to deliver the solid reputation as the best selling and most reliable mid size truck 14 years running. Love the 3.5 six engine, the ability to manually shift and the overall solid feel on the highway or dirt country roads. Looks like I'm a Toyota Tacoma fan member. I needed a RAV4-sized vehicle, with a hitch installed, delivered to Chicago by May 9th. The search ended on April 17th with a deposit. Jennifer Jones, Sales, helped locate a 2005 RAV4 that met my requirements, and she kept in touch until the vehicle arrived at Germain Toyota. Mason Martindale, VEP Sales Manager, took charge of transporting the vehicle, offering to share a portion of the cost of transport. Ann Roebuck, Service, took charge of seeing to the installation of the hitch, coordinating with Jennifer until it was done, 4/22 . Ann was my go-to person for service on our 2008 Camry. She saved us $200 on the install. It took just two trips to Germain, witch is about an hours drive away. Yet, I was kept in the loop. Jennifer promised to keep me updated until the vehicle leaves Germain. Great teamwork from a friendly staff.
