The car is a great balance between performance, economy, comfort, and versatility. It manages to do all of those things well, if not great. It won't win any races but it's fun to drive.

Chose the option to deliver to my office. I went our for lunch and my car was waiting me! Pretty cool - didn't have to waste my weekend driving around to dealers and talking to a bunch of people - oretty similar to buying on Amazon - just picked my car, did the financing online, and in 48 hours it was at my office and they took my old car away. Couldnt be easier

This car is AMAZING. This car was the second hardest thing to give up after my dog. The drive is SO SMOOTH. The interior is very stylish, and I love the brushed metal interior. No tacky chrome. I absolutely love mine because It has the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. It was SO RELIABLE IN THE SNOW! My partner would use it to drive to work when it stormed bad. Being able to use the lower gears and shift on the steering wheel made me feel so safe when I was caught in a crazy snow storm. The heated seats were also a genius invention.

Overall a good experience, it was hard finding the price I was looking for as this dealership refused to negotiate at all even if their value was far beyond KBB! I waited 3 months and almost gave up when I found exactly what I was looking for at the price the was fair! They didn’t know how to service the vehicle properly, even though it was serviced.... luckily it sounds like they might reimburse me, we will see how much!?

I like a sporty ride that makes driving fun, but if you can add great MPG the TDI provides I’m not sure there’s another option available for the money.

I bought my one year Golf after having one as a company vehicle. I had the wagon version preciously, but opted for the hatchback as I am a single man. I have the 1.6 diesel manual 5 speed trans in black . It is a comfortable and powerful small car and very good fuel consumption on the motorway/freeway. Excellent satnav in both the centre console and in the driver dash. Came with alloy wheels as standard and just a great looking effective vehicle.

Good power, tight handling, all around good vehicle with good MPG's. They seem to last a long time. There are a ton of them on the road.

Good car. 'Solid' is the word I'd use to describe it. I've had many cars over the years and some feel like they're made of tin, things wobble, things rattle. Everything on this car feels solid, sturdy and built to last. It's quality.

Want to whipe the smile off of that one guys face after he challenges you to a red light race? This is the car. (I'm talking about the TDI model as that's what I own btw). The acceleration this little car is crazy, so fast you'll have to adapt some for of throttle control you you wont be spinning in place (even with traction control on I might add). And the styling is superb, you honestly feel like your in a german vehicle. Elegant , powerful and honestly in my experience you get it all without having to go back for repairs every month. The only issue I've had is a dead battery as the fan in the engine can sometimes stay on if it starts cleaning the engine as diesel vehicles do. 10/10 vehicle

Just bought a pre-owned 2014 VW Golf and I couldn’t be happier! This thing is FUN to drive - I never understood when people said a car “hugged the road” or felt “sporty” - well now I do! This little thing feels solid, has excellent acceleration, and ia getting great gas mileage. So glad I ditched my expensive SUV. My “downgrade” feels like an “upgrade.”
