Overall I'd say my experience with Bachman was pretty good. In general, I find the whole car buying experience a little frustrating, but the folks at Bachman made it as painless as I think it can be. I wouldn't say that I got a screaming good deal on my car, but I did a lot of research beforehand and I know that it was very much in line with the market value. I would describe the price as fair and equitable.
I had looked at a couple of cars there a few times about a year apart, and in both cases the salespeople I worked with were very accommodating and didn't try to pressure me into anything, which I appreciated. In particular, I ended up buying from Carter, and he was extremely easy to work with and was able to fulfill every request for various pieces of information that I had (I'm a careful shopper) in a prompt and helpful manner. He was also pleasant to chat with while we were waiting for the finance guys during the purchase process.
In short, the car shopping process has changed over the past few decades, and, thanks to the internet, dealers just can't get away with a lot of the silliness they did in years past. While there are dealers that still try to play the old games, Bachman seems to have moved past that and operates in a fair and straightforward manner, and that's something I can appreciate.
