Sales person, Lucia, zeroed in on my needs if I were to purchase now rather than yr from now at end of my lease. They had seven autos that met the reasons to get serious about purchasing now. As this was a high end loaner there were a number of items that needed updating and every one necessary got involved up to the General Manager overseeing the process. This is my 9th different dealership in the last 25+ yrs involving higher end auto sales and Mac Haik is second to none.

I have owned my 2021 VW Jetta for close to two years. I have very little negative things to say about the car. The car does have auto start-stop when stopped for red lights and other lengthy stops. This car handles well. It gets on highways quickly. I have recorded gas on long trips 42 mpg. I get 32mpg around town. The Jetta looks nice. I have the gray color with black interior. It’s not like the BMW335 I owned but it is a good car for me. Currently over 36k miles with no issues. I take it in ever 10,000 miles for a check up and oil changes.

I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

I had a great experience with salesperson, Steven in March 2025. The other staff that I interacted with were really good and helpful too. I didn’t feel pressured. I appreciated that they didn’t try to turn it into an all day process. I purchased the specific used vehicle that I had been searching for online. I bought a 21 SEL Premium with 5k miles on it. Has fully digital dashboard display which is awesome because it's fully customizable, and you can even use the entire screen to display a map which shows local businesses as you drive near them. This vehicle also has Beats by Dre which I find terribly disappointing. My 2012 Toyota Camry had a JBL sound system which was 3 times better than this system. It also (at times) creates a bass thump when I make a call while listening to the radio which is irritating. The other issue that has me bummed was the cruise control system would fail half the time. I just got it fixed yesterday but time will tell as I've only engaged it once since dealership fixed it. The cabin feels very comfortable and is quiet on the road. The lane departure assist and assisted cruise control are impressive features that most will appreciate. Steering wheel controls are also nice features.

My lease was about to expire and I was contacted by Gary Swenson about getting a new 2025 RS7. He had one coming in and was still able to customize the car. We sat down with him and walked through all the options and configured the car exactly how we wanted it. The car arrived 90 days later we setup a date when we could come in and take delivery and Gary sent me a link to apply for the lease option. I did all the online paperwork so when we went in to the dealership everything was ready to go. All we had to do was sit down with the finance person sign some documents and we were ready to go. Gary made the purchase as easy as possible.

The overall experience was fine but I was just not used to this business model. I bought a $70,000 used vehicle and after having dealt with the Land Rover and Mercedes dealerships for years, the customer service at CarMax is just not up to their level. But I guess that was how I paid $2500 - $5,000 less than what other dealers were charging for the same car.

New car 9/2017: odometer now at 65000 miles. No issues at all since new. Fuelly.com calculates 40.5 MPG in 30/70 highway/city driving. 5 speed manual transmission has excellent synchros - and with a very light clutch engagement plus short throw gear changes - this 2017 1.4 turbo is fun to drive.

Great car. It had an after market receiver that was no good. I told them it was a deal breaker and they bought a good one for it, installed it and the back up camera I bought since my baby will need it. Very nice and excellent fuel mileage.

I got the SE model which I now regret. No SiriusXM radio, no navigation and no trip mirage and the only thing it counts is Miles, no quarter, half etc. Cannot give a person accurate directions. I don’t like the moon roof cover. It’s just glass and a shade no metal line outside of car so in NC in the summer I could cook an egg in it I believe. No excuse not to out SiriusXM in it. I had 2012 Jetta SEL that I absolutely loved it had all this one doesn’t but someone ran into me and totaled it in 2020 or I’d still have it. This one falls short of it.

I got the Jetta sport and LOVE it! It handles well and isn’t a gas guzzler. It’s a brand new car and it’s beautiful (I had a 14 yr old VW minivan until now)

This is my 2nd Mk6 Jetta. The first one I leased had zero issues with it. It was a 2017 1.4t S trim. My current Jetta a 2016 Sport 1.8t trim is a great vehicle! I bought it in 2019 as a CPO with 38k miles and now it has 127,500 miles and counting! Has give me zero problems. All I’ve done was kept up with its regular maintenance. I’ve used it to get around town and for long trips. Great on gas, roomy, nice backup camera and Apple CarPlay still works with the factory head unit! It also has VW’s built in Navigation system and Sirius XM which has come in handy a few times. The trunk is spacious with rear seats that fold down. The center rear seat comes with an arm rest and a pass through to the trunk. I also love the heated two tones white and black leatherette seats that come with the Sport trim. Driving wise, it handles great with good acceleration for a compact sedan. Easy to park as well!
