Bought it brand new. Overall not bad but has some flaws in ergonomics. Cheap plastic that doesnt stay in place. Had to glue gas tank door plate to prevent it from coming off. Little bit underpowered for a turbo. Windows control in weird place, never can get the right bottom without looking. Transmission always shifts like it cant pick the gear it wants to be in. May upshift and downshift at the same time which feels like you get kicked in the rear.

After over 78000 miles, nothing but regular maintenance. Trip from Atlanta to Ohio, 40 mpg. In town mileage 31-32 mpg. Had a 2014 and it was a great car as well. Paid $16,999 on sale in 2017 on Passat S. Best car in 55 years of driving.

I purchased my SEL from a dealership with only 13k miles. Great Value with every option you can get in a car the only thing it doesn't come with is a Heads Up Mph Display. The Fender Speakers System with Apple Car Play sounds rich. It has Wifi Bluetooth ,Heated back seats, Trunk Release by Foot, Remote Start, Rain Sensing wipers, auto dim rearview mirror. Door Entry lights auto, unlocks car automatically with a push button start. I wish the engine had more muscle. Overall so far 4.5 Stars

This was one of my favorite cars I test drove, but also one of the base models. It has a huge trunk and tons of room for a car seat or 2. Gets an average of 38-40mpg which is awesome for my driving to and from work.

I have had the blessing of dealing with James Kovack two times - once in connection with the sale of my leased 2021 RAV 4, the other time witnessing the sale of my sister's 2021 RAV 4. Was originally looking for a 2015 Passat diesel. Found a 2017 Passat Sel with 14000 certified miles. Love the elegant look of the big sedan. Front and rear seating is almost limousine like. The ride is excellent. The handling is pretty good too. Pick up from the 1.8 litter 4 is more than adequate. My gas mileage around town is anywhere from 25 on the low end to about 29 when I really watch it. On the expressway it's amazing. I have a brother in Wisconsin and the drive is about 95 miles. I have never averaged less than 40 and as high as 43.4 mpg. I guess I don't need a diesel. Own it 3 years now and I'd recommend one to anyone looking for a great ride with looks and great gas milage to boot. If I have one complaint it would be the touch radio and infotainment center. It is very touchy and doesn't work half the time. It just gets stuck on the last station you were on. It should be recalled as I have read that others also have this issue. Other than that I love my Passat.

We bought our 2012 VW Passat brand new and now it only has 80,000 miles on it. It has only needed tires, battery, and regular maintenance. Equipped with the five-cylinder engine it could use more power but has not used a drop of oil since we have owned it.

We went on a weekday and walked out with a new Atlas. Salesman John Maloney was great.

The Passat is a solid sedan and very reliable. I like the way it drives and feels on the road. The interior is very good size with more backseat and trunk room by far. The R Line is the best

Went in trying to finance a car for my fiancé and left with a car for both her and myself. Bought a 2016 CPO with about 65k miles. (Never had to use the warranty). 1.8 L turbo engine has surprising low end torque and lots of highway passing HP. GREAT MPG! Lots of leg room for all passengers. A really great road trip car. Lost it in a crash @ 110k :(

I love my Passat SE. My only complaint: being 6'1" I find it somewhat difficult to get in and out of the car. It sits too low. But once in the car it's most comfortable and a pleasure to drive. The driving assists and adaptive curse are marvelous. I think it's one of the nicest looking cars I've ever owned.

I bought the 2012 in 2018 with about 80k on the odometer. Put 20k per year and only had 1 minor maintenance issue (other than wear items ) with a power steering leak that was not an expensive fix. Averaged 30 MPG and had plenty of power and handling to make driving it fun and confident. Really great on long trips. Has a huge back seat and large trunk. I gave it to my college student son and bought another used Passat for us.

I bought a 2014 VW Passat SE in 2014 Brand New. I have done all the recommended maintenance on the car since I bought it and I have never had it break on me. I just hit 100k last month. I was driving down the highway a few weeks ago and I hit what appeared to be a piece of concrete or asphalt in the road. It made a loud thud under my car and I immediately lost power and the car turned off. I had it towed to the dealership. Whatever I hit took out my fuel pump that is inside the gas tank. They charged me $2100 to fix it. So I can tell you first hand these cars are reliable if you do all the maintenance like you are supposed to. But when they do Break, they cost way more than they should to fix them!

Cash discounts too, so I feel I got a great deal for my car. There was a small bulb that was out on the front and the headlights were a little foggy, which they took care of quickly for me. Had a 2015 Passat and now this 2017 SE w/Tech and Light Pkg. Had some frontend noise issues, the same on both the 15 and 17. It was expensive to fix at around 80K miles. My only tech problem is that my passenger side mirror stopped going down to display the curb when I back up. Average mileage is around 26 -27 with 75% city, stop and go traffic. I am pleased with that. My biggest complaint is my wife's complaint, the front seats aren't made for long trips. Her part is the Lumbar support, mine would be the lack of seat cushion. Other than those things, I love my Passat. The little tiny 1.8L is never short of power for me. I live in Texas and I don't feel good about pushing the little motor hour after hour much past 70 -75 mph, so I do get passed a lot, but I make up for it at the gas pumps.

To all the "whiners" out there (detailing mechanical issues) "after" 100,000 miles. You don't let ANY brand of car go without "scheduled maintenance at or around 90-100,000 miles. Look at your maintenance book that came with the car. (ALL) cars have an expensive scheduled maintenance plan. If you buy a new 2024 its gonna have a $100-300 inspection and a mechanic bill of $150-175/Hr labor before parts. Some of you sound like you're suppose to be able to buy a perfect car that will never need maintenance. Really??? sheeesh. Buy an extended warranty and a new(er) car. You're the worst kind of driver to review any car. This brand is often nicknamed the "million mile" car bc it can go that far with "scheduled maintenance" of the engine wear items and oil changes. Can your Honda or Hydaui go that far??? I challenge you as a 4 VW car owner from the 2006-2014 to beat this brand of engine on highway mpg and engine longevity. Go do your homework and stop whining. My 2006 VW diesel still going at 325,000 and my 2014 Passat Tdi still going at 147,000 with the engine pistons and rings just getting seated at 90000-100,000 miles. You don't know what that means but as a diesel tech I can tell you it means it just getting its first break in period on its longevity of the engine parts. Farfenugen baby. Go VW!!!

Selden was good as always. This is the third vehicle that I bought from them... and will likely buy more if I can by the grace of God. Don't buy a used vehicle if you don't understand that it is a mechanical piece of equipment that has a tremendous number of moving parts and will have failures. (but really... I've had no issues with the BMWs I've bought from Selden.) Selden has always delivered a top notch, ready to drive vehicle that has been detailed so that it looks new. I think Scott has been in the business for a long time. The first car I bought from him was about 14 years ago when they were in Conshohocken... a 2008 BMW 328xi Sport Wagon. Then (of all things) an i3 REX which I've used as a daily driver for close to 4 years. And now an X5 with an N55b engine. Rich does a stand up job with financing and with getting you into a warranty that will keep your purchase running well. The warranty prices are fair and bring peace of mind on the purchase for only a small increase on the monthly payment. That said - Thank you Scott and Rich for making another purchase experience great! Keep up the good work - you have an excellent and desirable inventory at all times... and I keep an eye on it for my next BMW.

Have had my beauty since 2014 and it's still a head turner. With over 110,000 miles, it still runs like brand new! I have never had issues with anything mechanical and have only had the one air bag recall.

The entire package of documents was prepared in a matter of hours. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, nothing superfluous - just the result. The car turned out to be a real find! I will definitely come back more than once.

I wanted to update my car, and this is where I chose the Audi A6 2019. Spacious, beautiful, without a single defect. Despite the fact that the car was used, it looks and drives like new. The range was impressive, and the managers provided detailed advice on each option. The financing terms are also very attractive.

My 2020 Passat SE is a great car. It has a comfortable ride. The 6 speed Tiptronic (automatic) transmission shifts smoothly. Minimal wind noise in the quiet cabin. Does not have auto engine stop/start feature (thank goodness) but does have adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and rain sensing wipers. I get 31-32 mpg in town and about 36.5 mpg highway. My car insurance bill actually went down with all the safety features. I got my car for $7000 less than MSRP. Big trunk and plenty of legroom in back seat. 600+ mile range between fillups!

This car has a very roomy interior and the SEL premium option and a bunch oh technology upgrades that are great to have. Heated seats, duel climate control and remote start are standard.

When needing a reliable, cost effective and trustworthy car I found a BMW with low mileage available at the CarPoint Auto Group through the Internet. I asked, who are these people nearly an hour’s drive from my home but the car looked really fit for purpose. When I drove to this small and out of the place location in South River (I live near Chester, NJ) I was really excited to see their stock of class cars both old, and new in outstanding conditions. Now I know about this small, out of the way jewel and when I move from this fit for purpose BMW I will most certainly visit them again and aim to upgrade to a more sophisticated model that better suits my dreams. I bought a lease turn-in and it had 31k miles. So far, this car is in mint condition and rides and drives like a dream with a 4 cylinder turbo engine and no problems so far. This is a great looking, very roomy German vehicle with style and passaze. I hope this car last for many years to come.
