I would advise anyone against this vehicle. I recently went to pick one up. Vehicle did not even make it 100 miles before engine seized on the highway. In this case we had every maintenance record of the vehicle showing regular maintenance and it had under 70k on it. Upon receiving vehicle it was brought to a shop for oil change and a check over before hitting the road. Luckily was able to get money back otherwise would have been a useless brick. Verified multiple times that this was not the engine on the recall settlement list. Guess it doesn't matter which all the engines are terrible.

2014 SXL, FWD. really nice vehicle.. great performance.. lots of high level luxury in the car.. including heated and cooled seats!! the touchscreen is easy to maneuver and the physical buttons make it very convenient and does not require that you take your eye's off the road. seats are very comfortable. I have two complaints. the chrome wheels.. almost impossible to prevent rust underneath.. would have preferred aluminum wheels instead. And the third row is useless and should never have been offered. Purchased vehicle used in 2016 with less than 3k miles on it. (really) Pleasure to drive, not to firm, not mushy.. great stereo.. I love this car!!!

Bought used 2014 KIA Sorento with 999985 on the way home motor blew up seller won’t do anything about it. This should have been a recall
