My 6th BMW and my last

I am well versed in the BMW lines having owned a 3, two 5s, two 740i Sports, and this 645 Ci. The automatic transmissions on the V8 cars have been trash since my '97 7 series and my 6 is doing trans faults at 110 miles. When I bought the car at 89K miles, I brought it to the local dealership for recall work and they quoted me $20K to fix all the issues with it. I laughed and got a reputable BMW only shop I use to get the mechanical stuff and oil leaks fixed for $5k. That leaves all the many electrical demons still there. I'm done with BMWs and the local dealer. Cars are a dream to drive when they work. Be prepared for every possible sensor to go bad, the radio and display to not work, transmission to go into limp mode without warning, the cheap plastic coolant tanks rotting, and a constant and random warning light appearing
