Presenting this exceptionally rare 2003 Jaguar XJ Super V8 Long Wheelbase, finished in the iconic British Racing Green over an elegant leather interior. With only 71,000 original miles and a documented service history, this example represents one of the most desirable configurations of Jaguars flagship sedan. Combining the refinement of the XJ LWB with the power of the Supercharged V8, it delivers an unmatched blend of luxury and performance. Very few 2003 low-mileage Super V8 models (also known as the Vanden Plas Supercharged) were ever produced. Only 788 units were built for the U.S. market between 1999 and 2003. Most of these were Vanden Plas Supercharged models. The VDPs were essentially the Daimler cars sold in the U.S., distinguished by their fluted grille and boot plinths. However, the Super V8 featured a plain grille and plinth, which raises the question: where does it fit? According to the VIN structure, these vehicles are also Daimlersthe VINs begin with SAJD, with the D denoting Daimler. This means that all VDP models are technically Daimlers by VIN, yet specific production figures were given separately for the VDP and Daimler-badged cars. It is safe to conclude that the supercharged variants were also counted separately, encompassing both the VDP Supercharged and the Super V8 models. In total, only 788 examples were sold in the U.S. across the 19992001 VDP Supercharged and the 20022003 Super V8 combined, making them exceptionally exclusive and sought after today. This vehicle spent its entire life in the South, preserving its condition and keeping it free from harsh northern climates. The long wheelbase configuration provides additional rear legroom, further enhanced by factory-installed rear tray tablesa true hallmark of executive luxury. Rear passengers are treated to heated seats and plush lambswool floor mats, elevating comfort to a level rarely seen in modern sedans. The cabin is richly appointed with premium leather, wood veneer trim, and thoughtful details such as the original Jaguar umbrella, still included with this car. Both front and rear occupants enjoy heated seating, while the driver benefits from a factory navigation system and premium CD changer.

Owns this car

I have owned 2 jaguars xj8's. The first one was a 2001 and the one I currently have now is a 2003 with 58,000 miles, which is outstanding for a 20 year old car. I was blessed.

I have always thought of Jaguar as a very special breed. Having owned quite a variety of wonderful vehicles through the years, I can safely say the 2003 Vanden Plas is my absolute favorite. The smooth elegant styling draws nods and looks of approval wherever she goes and the handling and effortless acceleration never fails to make me smile. The interior is very functional and yet of a caliber which always reminds you that you sit in a very refined and upscale vehicle. With 175 mph available on the speedometer, and suspension that is truly like a jaguar, there is a general feeling of confidence no matter the country road or open highway you find yourself on. The rear seat leg room is enormous and passengers never tire of pulling down the burl walnut tray tables for their tablets or cell phones. This Jaguar gives me pleasure, no matter the venue so it is well kept and maintained. That said, the only mechanical issue I have had has been a fuel pump.
