I bought this car with about 80,000 miles on it and it

Owns this car

I bought this car with about 80,000 miles on it and it rides nice but it has a few issues if I were you I'd stay away from it so far I've had to replace the wheel hub bearings the shocks, the AC compressor and the driver door actuator. It has the typical VQ35DE V6 engine which has excellent power. I just found a recall on the power steering hose which can cause a fire if not replaced. The CVT transmission is being reported as troublesome so buy an extended warranty. The fuel mileage is not so great but I can attribute some of that to the new age petrol. Nissan quality was much better when they were made in Japan and I've been with them since they were Datsun.

Used to own this car

I had a horrible experience with Davis Acura. I had asked for more pictures of the car before I decided to go there and look at the car myself. I would send pictures of a big chip in the paint and was told it was on the roof when it was actually on the hood of the car the car was only 13,999 and I was going to put down $2000. When I got there, they told me I had to put five or $6000 down. I put $6000 down on a new car I had previously gotten that was over $20,000. I was never told how much I have to put down on a car. I wasted my time going to this dealership. Do yourself a favor and go to Carmax, which offers wonderful service.

Our transmission when @ 240000km.

Owns this car

Our transmission when @ 240000km. We spent $12000 to have it replaced just to have it destroy its self in another 36000km. I understand it’s older and has a lot of km but 15 months and 36000km is an unreasonable expectation of a life span for a transmission. Nissan has done nothing but give me the runaround and to spout that it is out of warranty. A 12 month 20000km warranty on a new transmission is absolutely unacceptable.
