Owned this car for over 10 years and had 0 issues. Great family car that will fit 3 car seats across the middle seat. So much leg room for older kids as well and was a top selling feature. Numerous bells and whistles that are similar to newer cars like lane departure, blind spot and 360 camera view.

Test Drove. Confused about transmission.

Used to own this car

Ok I only test drove one of these it was a 2013 and after heavy research multiple owners well thousands of owners complained about the transmission. Now I've never owned a vehicle with the CVT transmission but long story short I went over New Jersey to a used car dealer test drove one on a long stretch and it felt like the transmission was gonna blow up. The dealer was in the back seat I asked him why the gears not shifting he said that's how CVT transmissions shift. So I'm saying to myself if you can't feel the trans shifting what's the point of the tachometer showing the rpm's. The rpm's was going and going and going xxxx near at 8000 rpm's and I wasn't even driving 40 mph. Somebody please tell me this is normal because I wanna buy one of these so bad they so cute.

Owns this car

This car has a nice interior. The three row seating is nice except the 3rd row is a little cramped concerning leg room. Great family car.
