Love this car! Would buy it again over and over. Have 257,000 miles on mine and still going. Other than brakes and tires, very minimal repairs. Interior, the back seat had an issue because I put too much weight in the trunk, and it is known to buckle. Exterior is cheap and has just started to rust after 13 years in one corner of one fender. The only major repair I have had was on the rear suspension and because these are no longer made, I couldn't find a new part for it, but it was easy to find one at a junk yard. This is a reliable daily driver for me and I take it everywhere. The only people I wouldn't recommend it for is someone really tall. I had 6"2" driver, and he fit, but not as comfortably as he would have liked.

It was pretty cheap. Got my 2011 sx4 in 2024, 5th hand, for around 4,000$. Very good for its price—for such an old model it drove so smoothly and took me pretty far. Sadly after a month the radiator hose exploded and I had to get it towed, but fixing it was easy. Besides that, great car—definitely got what I paid for.

We purchased our SX4 Ex-ec in September 2012, to date 25600 miles, never used a drop of oil, we have travelled 3 times through Europe to Austria and Italy, abroad averaging 50 Mpg in the UK up to 43 mpg. No complaints whatsoever and the most comfortable car we have had. Apart from service , had a new battery 2 years ago, Changed tyres at 20000, best and most reliable car I have ever owned during car ownership of 59 years.
