I BOUGHT MY 2018 XC 60 NEW. AT 70,000 MILES, I TOOK THE CAR IN FOR 70,000 MILE WORKUP. I WAS TOLD THE ENGINE WAS SHEARING AWAY FROM THE BLOCK. I WAS TOLD THIS WASN'T UNCOMMON FOR THESE CARS. THEN. THE REAR O2 SENSOR FAILED. I HAD TO REPLACE BOTH BATTERIES AS WELL(NOT UNEXPECTED, THE BATTERIES WERE 5 YEARS OLD) AND WERE 800.00 FOR BOTH. 5,000 DOLLARS WORTH OF WORK ON A CAR WITH LESS THAN 75,000 MILES.

I LOVE this car. Love it. The pickup is amazing and the car is extremely comfortable. Bonus points for a great stereo system! It’s my favorite car I’ve ever owned (I’m 54). Five +++ stars!

I have owned the 2018 XC60 T8 Inscription for 3 years now. The vehicle was brand new and now has over 110k miles on it. Here is the breakdown of my rating: Performance - The T8 has incredible acceleration and handling, but the braking is a bit touchy. Easy to get used to, but easy to trigger some of the active safety features the first time you hit the brakes. Not a quick as a Tesla, but a 5.3s 0-60mph is impressive in a 4-cyl SUV. Styling - I absolutely love the sleek, minimalist styling Volvo is known for, and the XC60 fits that to a T. Clean lines, and incredibly comfortable. But they can keep the crystal shifter… Reliability - I have had -0- mechanical or performance issues, and only had to replace wear items. I docked it one star because of a glitch in the infotainment system that decided to max out the gain on the microphone right next to a speaker and send a shrill 90dB screech into the cabin… once the software was flashed the problem went away - only happened once and was a free repair (well out of warranty). I am definitely going to be a Volvo owner for life and am looking forward to taking advantage of the overseas delivery program with my next Volvo purchase.
