Car handles and drives great. I've owned it for the last 8 years. Its been my Sunday car, and my favorite car. I just dont drive it though so looking for a good home. Wheels are flawless as they were refinished two years ago to repair the common flaking issue. Tires replaced then and have less than 500 miles on them (2022 & 2023 date codes). They are matching Yohomo Advan Fleva. Top is in good shape. No leaks. One small nick that has been there for 6 years or so and hasn't changed. I use vinyl protection and car is under cover. Garaged in winter. Car has a top strap, which is often missing on MR2. This makes it tuck properly when folding. Engine is strong. Timing chain tensioner has slight leak, but its minor. No observable oil burn, which was common with these cars. I used the Castrol Euro oil. Leather is good. Some creases but no tears. Interior is great. Rear brakes have 5000 miles on them and front pads are good. Undercarriage is good. Just surface rust. Redline oil in transmission and it shifts well. Car had some top coat damage on the rear from what I assume was a bumper sticker. Ther e is some light tape lines visible where I put on some new clear. It's barely noticeable and tough to photograph. A few scratches and stone chips but not bad for 23 years. Car is a nice but not a museum piece.

No issues, great mechanical condition. No dents no dings. Just need to free up some garage space. Garage kept. Interior is also in excellent condition.

Tons of fun, a real value

I always wanted a Miata, but their interiors are so small, I am 6'2" and 235 lbs. I fit quite comfortably in my MR2 Spyder. With a 5 speeed manual and excellent mid engine handling, the car is a gas to drive. There is a real feeling of driving engagement. I am getting 31 mpg. Never had a problem. Toyota reliability. With such limited production lots of people have no idea what it is and I get questions. Yes, storage is pretty limited, but this wasn't made for family cross country treks. I purchased the car in April 2017 with 42k miles and now I have 50k with no problems.

I get great gas mileage. It handles great. I've owned it 6 years, I've had no issues with it. 2002 with 120,000. Miles and still going strong!
