FOR SALE - 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5L 4 cyl 136,831 miles Bought 3 years ago for $5810 with 120K miles. My daughter was in college; only put 16K miles on it. She’s now living where she doesn’t need a vehicle = reason it’s being sold. New battery and fresh oil change. Issues with vehicle: • Damage to passenger side mirror housing (pictured) • A few areas of peeling paint (not super noticeable; largest of these areas is pictured) • Burns (does not leak) oil; some oil usually needs to be added in between oil changes • Mechanic has recommended replacement of CV axle/assembly • Check engine light on at times; code is for the catalytic converter being below efficiency • AC is not cold Some of the positives: • Super clean interior. You won’t find many vehicles in this price range with an interior this nice • Reliable and has never broken down • Stabilizer bar link assembly/front sway bar links replaced • Faulty tire sensor replaced • New brakes, rotors and pads at 132K Cash only.

Owns this car

This is, by far, the best vehicle I have ever owned! I now have $169,800 MI on the car that I've had for about 6 years now and it rides like brand new! It starts right up, and except for battery issues and a parasitic drain which you have to watch out for, as well as transmission issues at 100,000 k. But if you have one of the car services that that you pay into, and repairs the card, after the first transmission is replaced, you will have no issues with the car for at least another $125,000 MI! it's an awesome car and I would highly recommend it! If you tune it up, this vehicle will have 340 horses and will be a beast! I know that's exactly what I did!!

Nissan year 2007 and beyond - transmission issues

Used to own this car

all altimas (and other Nissan models) from 2007 and on have issues with the CVT transmission- owned a 2008 Versa and 2007 Altima- usually the transmission issues start around 100k. I have owned several Nissan Altimas prior to 2007 and have reached over 250k with each!. If you plan on keeping any Nissan past 2007 and on past 100k miles I would not recommend.

NissaBad transmission slipping in 2nd and 3rd gear

For several years when I turn the right signal light on the transmission will down shift. Now the transmission is slipping some. I have some friends that own this type car also and they r having the same in problem.
