In the deep, dark cavernous craters of the internet, there is a Saturn forum wherein someone stated EVERY Saturn model should have been recalled. The ONLY piece Saturn outsourced was the computer which is the crux of almost every problem it had. My VUE had many problems, especially not starting in every MN season. Throttle, starter replaced twice in last 2 years of my ownership. Every mechanical 'fix' never resolved issues; it still didn't start at very inconvenient times or had other issues when running- losing speed on freeway, and on and on... Due to the forum, now we know why.

I loved it when I first got it it has just over 100,000 miles on it and it tends to not accelerate sometimes when you're stepping on the gas and then all of a sudden you'll go again you can't make turns there's some kind of grinding sound and all the lights on the dash suddenly came on and nobody can seem to find the problem

I have owned two 2008 Saturn Vue. First one had a accident where was hit by a pickup truck doing roughly 45 mph, in the rear. The deck behind rear seats and chasis observed the impact. No one in car was hurt. Second Vue now has 213,000 miles on it. Just replaced replaced radiator. Replaced wheel bearing, caliper, rotors and tires all way around car. Good inexpensive transportation. Engine could use more guts. But it gets you down the road.
