Vehicle has been in the shop 7 times and has stranded us 3 times. Saturn says there is an issue, but they don't have a fix and I should use caution when driving the vehicle to avoid being stranded in the extreme heat (or cold). This in NOT why a person purchases an new vehicle. I talked people with everyone from Saturn Customer Service to the GM Executive Offices to try to return the vehicle to no avail. After it spent 20 of the first 30 days of ownership in the shop I tried to return it under Saturn's 30 day return policy, but they would not honor it because they counted the time from when I signed papers instead of delivery 5 days later for the dealer installed DVD system. Finally took my loses and traded it off instead of fighting it with Lemon Law Lawers.

I loved everything about this car the style, price, and gas mileage. What I do not like is I have had an issue with the reliability. Twice this week it wouldn't start. Once when I stopped for gas and once in my driveway. Thank goodness for the onstar and roadside assistance but this is a nuisance. I’ve only owned it for 4 months I shouldn’t be having these issues. It has been extremely cold which is what is causing the issue but come on it’s a new car. Also the hoof has been frozen shut I’ve never had this experience.

This car is awesome. Purchased the Red Line Edition in orange. The interior is very sharp with black leather and suede. Feels very roomy. Handles like a sports car with lots of pep and great maneuverability. Visibility is very good, no blind spots to speak of. Very fun to drive. The navigation/sound system is top notch. All around a great car, and you can find them at a lower price than most of the comparable competition.

I have driven this Saturn for 6 mos. This is our 3rd Saturn - 1996 SL1 which we gave away - 2003 ION 2 (we still drive) It handles the turns better than I expected. I don't end up in the oncoming lanes. It has great pickup. I have to keep watching the speedometer so I don't go over the speed limit. The seating is very comfortable. Love the Onstar. The seats are very easy to pull down. I was happy to read all the good reviews from several sources. It made driving the Missouri winter weather driving conditions a lot less stressful. The drawer under the passenger seat is really handy to store stuff. The power seats, the stabili-trak, 6 airbags are worth every penny. When you close the door, it sounds solid. Road noise, rough roads are almost nonexistent driving the Vue. The gas mileage may not be great but it sure is fun driving between fill-ups.

Been in shop for oil leak, bad serpintine belt, replaced catalytic converter, transmission problems. Transmission too quick to downshift on hills when in cruise, then does not want to shift back into overdrive. Also does this when you let cruise bring up to speed.

Bought my XE 4 cylinder brand new, has 26,000 miles on it and have not had a problem yet. It has pretty good gas mileage, decent power, handles pretty good, and is very comfortalbe on long trips and great for the family. It looks good and is very reliable. The price was great for how nice it is and how well it still runs after almost 5 years of ownership. The interior is ok, but the center console in the front is a tad small with so-so cup holders. This is the most reliable car I've owned, its too bad Saturn went under.

The 2007 and the 2008 Vue are like night and day. I test drove both cars. Driving the 2007 Vue was totally uninspiring. The steering was sloppy and the vehicle was not very responsive. The 2008 Vue couldn't have been more different. The steering was crisp and although it looks a little bulky, it feels very agile, even sporty. I had driven the Rav4 the previous day and would have to say that the 2008 Vue is more fun to drive. The 2008 styling is a huge upgrade in looks over the 2007. The interior feels roomy and has some nice detailing. Also, the base Vue comes with standard features that are options on any other brand out there; XM radio, OnStar, 6 airbags. I had no intention of buying a 2008 Vue, I was looking at the 2007 Vue Hybrids, but it definitely won me over. Negatives are the less than ideal gas mileage and my 4 cyl Vue will not win any races. Many more positives than negatives.

I bought one brand-spanking new. At 5,000 miles a rotor in the right front wheel went out. Ever since then, it has been one thing after another. I have had the vehicle now for 8 months and it has also depreciated $9,000 according to a sales rep. I spoke with today about trading it off. Don't do it. Saturn may not be around much longer anyway.

Bought well used at a great price. With 130k on the odometer you expect some looseness, noises and broken pieces. The vehicle has had two previous owners and a clean carfax. Everything works, has a great sound system and drives like it is nearly new. After 46 years of driving, this suv stands out as one of the few vehicles that I truly enjoy driving. It tracks true and feels safe even on our poor roads. Braking is very positive and interior noise is well below average. Very few creaks, groans or rattling. Steering is firm and takes a little effort to turn the wheel but I find this a positive as it is and wouldn't change it if I could. Turning radius is acceptable and is the reason the car feels so stable at speed on irregular surfaces. The tighter turning of our previous RAV4 gave an inferior sense of stability in comparison. All switches and controls are well thought out and are mostly intuitive to use. Engine noise is very low and power is very adequate from the 3.5L powertrain, The six speed transmission with the manual select feature is a delight in its working form. Fingers crossed on the tranny as there are a few reliability complaints out there. There is a small leak at the engine's rear main seal and few coolant drips but all are quite small. Again, the whole package has a lot of miles but still feels young. A good review for a used car is more valuable than 10 new car accolades. At less than a quarter of its new price I am quite happy with the value. My only valid complaint is the fuel economy. Winter time driving is yielding only 16 mpg in the combined highway / city driving. Current fuel price makes this acceptable but the future will eventually double the operating cost. Overall; I really like this car.
