recently just bought a super low mileage 2006 S430 California one owner car, that had been pampered and garaged. Beautiful flawless interior, gorgeous exterior with AMG sport package and new tires. Car had around 87000 miles on it, so I didn't squabble over 10k price, it also had new tires. I own another 2009 S550 but couldn't resist buying this one as it was last year of the body style and this one had wonderful service records. Engine shifts perfectly, AC blows cold, fresh oil change, it is a really great car for the money and you simply cannot buy a car of this high quality for this amount of money.

This car is the best i ever owned, always attention from others , many compliments while filling up at gas station. i had a AMG package on my previous 2006 S 500. I had 230k mileages on it. always dealer maintained . I lost it as engine caught as result of oil. change at dealership in Annapolis MD. drove 30 min home and fire happened. However i must say not my fault or cars. just got a bad tech , I would still recommend this vehicle . I have dropped out of the Mercedes family because of poor service locally.

I bought this from the son of the original owner with 72,000 miles. It had been given good care. I owned it from 2016-2020 and put 22,000 miles on it. Neat car for what it is: $175,000 new, only 427 sold in the US in 2006, 604 horsepower, 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, full leather interior. But they are cheaply made, things were constantly failing. Even in the interior things seemed cheap: door ash trays falling off, seats squeaky, cheap plastic, door check arm noisy even after greased. I had an extended warranty that spent $22,000 repairing it at the dealer. I paid $4,000 for things not covered. Great highway car, though only 19.5 mpg on long trip (which is about the EPA estimate). The Active Body Control hydraulic suspension is great as it keeps the car pretty stable, but is failure prone and very expensive to repair. I would love to have a 1980's or '90's S-class but will never own another Mercedes built after 1999.
