Stay away from promaster!!!

Owns this car

Run away from this front wheel drive junk. It is VERY uncomfortable to drive. Gas mileage is horrible. With the weight of the van with front wheel drive it burns up front tires like they are free. Brakes don't last. (dodge OEM pads)

RUN!!!! RUN AWAY FROM PROMASTERS!!!!

Owns this car

I own a courier company. We starting shifting to Promasters several years ago. We haven't owned one yet with 150,000 or more miles that hasn't gone through a motor and or a transmission. If you can find one a Nissan NV is a much more reliable vehicle.

2018 Ram Prosmaster1500/91,000 Miles-failed engine

Purchased new in 2018. Ram Promaster 1500, I purchased an extended warranty 4 year/100,000 miles. My warranty expired in May of this year, I have 91,000 highway miles on the van and done all my service maintenance. The van is currently at the dealership and is requiring a new engine. I have taken the car in twice because on the engine getting stuck in high gear. The last time I took the van in, I was told their was nothing wrong with it. Now the warranty has expired and the engine needs replaced. I do not recommend this cargo van.
