(rock music) <v Spokesperson>Cars.com auto review. Hi Patrick Wilson, Suburban Dad for cars.com. We're at the 2009 LA Auto Show looking at the 2010 Lexus GX 460.
Now the GX is sort of the corporate cousins to Toyota's 4Runner also redesigned for 2010. Now the front of the car though, the face of it, if you will, it looks a little bit like this Suburu Outback, according to some of the guys I work with, I don't see it, but they're smarter than I am. Now under the hood, we find that the engine has grown in power, but also in mileage, it gets two miles per gallon better. While you might scoff that that's not a lot, it's better than 10%. On the interior. It looks a lot like the 4Runner, although more sophisticated and clearly more expensive. In addition, the new GX gets a new safety system called PCS, which will sense the seatbelts for people in the event of a crash and also send more power to the brakes when it's needed. Now, if you're one of those people who are looking for one of these GX's at your Lexus dealer, it's supposed to arrive there in just a few weeks. So look for it there. <v Spokesperson>For more car related news, go to cars.com or our blog kickingtires.net.
