(car engine starting) Mazda has a new variant of its redesigned MX-5 Miata, it's called the MX-5 RF, that stands for retractable fastback, and here's why.
As you can see this retractable hard top goes into an area here ahead of the cargo, so you actually don't lose any luggage space behind it, whether the top is up or down, pretty cool. Adds a little more than a hundred pounds to the MX-5. We don't know anything about cost yet, we'll find that out closer to this cars on sale date, either later this year or sometime in 2017.
