(rock music) Hi I'm Mike Hanley with Cars.com and I'm here at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. This is a giant show and there are tons of giant trucks here as well. I'm going to show you some of those right now.
Do you remember the Ford Excursion SUV? Well, if you thought that was a big SUV, check out the one behind me, it's an F650 by Ford, and it's customized by Alton Manufacturing Company. You can see here, it has two steps just to get up to the cab and it's powered by a caterpillar diesel engine. And this truck goes for more than six figures. Here's another take on Ford's F650. It's a pickup truck. That's customized by Chromeshop Mafia. That sounds like a pretty sinister company, but they've made a pretty sinister truck to here. You can see it's got a bed in the back. You can put on your gooseneck trailer and haul something with it. And it's pretty impressive looking truck. Our next mega truck is the Ford F750. You can see here, it's just pretty much a cab, so you could put a big box or something on the back, but you sit really high up in this one. And it goes for about 70 grand. This has to be one of the biggest trucks shown at the Chicago Auto Show. It's the International Loan Starts a new semi-truck that the company is unveiling, and it's designed to combine both the aerodynamics of their smoother design trucks with kind of the personalization of the classic trucks you can see from the front grill. It's got a really distinctive design. It's a really interesting big semi truck. Our final large truck on our tour is the International Max Pro. This truck is actually in use in Iraq right now, and it's carrying troops around and it has a special designed bottom that's meant to deflect the blast from improvised, explosive devices. We often think of trucks like the Chevy Suburban is pretty large, but as you can see, there's a whole nother level of large trucks out there. So if you're at the Chicago Auto Show, want to really see some mega trucks, stop by and see some of these. <v Spokesperson>For additional information on this car or any other go to Cars.com and our blog Kicking Tires.
