Inflation is slowing in the U.S., and although prices aren’t yet falling, they’re not going up either — at least not as much. Similarly, if you’re shopping for a compact luxury SUV, you may be pleased to learn that the Audi Q5’s price for the 2025 model year has changed about as much as the vehicle itself, which is to say not much at all, apart from some new options packages.

In Cars.com’s most popular news article of the past week, we break down 2025 pricing for the Q5. The new model starts at $46,695 (including a destination charge) for the Q5 40, an increase of only $200 from the 2024 model. Prices rise incrementally through the ranks, topping out just shy of $60,000 for the Q5 S Line 55 plug-in hybrid. If you want to upgrade to sportier looks and higher performance, the SQ5 and SQ5 Sportback will run you $59,695 to $63,095.

Elsewhere in new-car pricing, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz is being updated and upgraded for the next model year — and priced up in the process. It’s the first time the compact pickup truck has had a refresh since bowing three model years ago, with changes to both exterior styling and interior elements, while powertrains go unchanged. The Santa Cruz starts just a shade under 30 grand for the base SE trim, rising through the five total trim levels — including the SEL, SEL Activity and XRT in the middle rungs — on its way to nearly $44,000 for the range-topping Limited (all prices include a destination charge).
