Under the hood, the XT4 has an all-new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which puts out 237 horsepower. It’s paired with a nine-speed automatic — which, we should note, was the subject of consumer complaints of early transmission problems.
The strengths of the small XT4 reside in its roomy interior. Compared with other SUVs of its size, this thing is big on passenger space, especially when it comes to legroom in the backseat.
