2025 Cadillac XT6 Gets Packaging Shuffle, Starts at $49,195
The 2025 Cadillac XT6 receives minor packaging updates for the new model year but otherwise carries over unchanged. The Platinum Package for the Premium Luxury and Sport trims now brings in advanced driver-assist options like Super Cruise and Night Vision. Super Cruise allows semi-autonomous hands-free driving on compatible highways, while Night Vision enhances detection of pedestrians and animals in low-light situations.

Powertrain Specs and MPG
The XT6 lineup retains its two engine options for 2025. The base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine makes 235 horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque on premium fuel; it gets an EPA-rated 21/27/23 mpg city/highway/combined with standard front-wheel drive or 21/26/23 mpg with all-wheel drive. A 3.6-liter V-6 engine produces 310 hp and 271 pounds-feet of torque and is standard in the Premium Luxury and Sport trims; this engine manages 19/26/21 mpg with FWD and 18/25/20 mpg with AWD. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Availability and Pricing
The 2025 Cadillac XT6 is available now at dealerships. Pricing for each trim level, including a $1,395 destination charge, is as follows. AWD adds $2,000 to the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims; the Sport is AWD only.

Trim Levels
The entry-level Luxury trim features the 2.0-liter engine, 18-inch wheels, seven-occupant seating and some standard safety tech like automatic emergency braking and rear cross-traffic alert. Inside, it has heated front seats, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and six USB ports. Optional upgrades include 20-inch wheels.
The Premium Luxury trim upgrades to a V-6 engine, leather seating and larger 20-inch wheels. This trim also includes more conveniences like a hands-free power liftgate, upgraded 14-speaker Bose audio system and ventilated front seats. The optional Platinum Package introduces semi-aniline leather seating, Super Cruise, Night Vision and other tech upgrades. A towing package and advanced safety options like a 360-degree camera system and adaptive cruise control are also available in the Premium Luxury and Sport trims.
The top-end Sport trim brings in all Premium Luxury features and adds Cadillac’s twin-clutch AWD system and a sport-tuned suspension. Design enhancements include darkened exterior accents and unique 20-inch wheels, while an array of packages offer further customization.
