2025 Genesis G80 Gets Minor Face-Lift, Priced From $58,350

The Genesis G80 committed to all-weather capability for the 2024 model year, with the brand making all-wheel drive standard across the line for its mid-size luxury sedan. For 2025, the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class competitor gets a minor mid-cycle face-lift, with new front and rear exterior styling, fresh wheel designs and a tweaked interior featuring a 27-inch combination digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen; additionally, the 3.5T Sport trim is gone. Genesis seems confident that the updates are an improvement and has raised the G80’s base price $2,700 from 2024, to $58,350 (all prices include $1,250 destination).

The top trim of the four-cylinder lineup, the 2.5T Sport Prestige, transforms the G80. It features Genesis’s advanced Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview, which scans the road ahead with a camera and proactively prepares the dampers at individual corners for road imperfections. The Sport Prestige also gets a sportier suspension tuning and upgraded brakes, as well as a comprehensive safety-tech upgrade that includes a 360-degree parking camera, blind spot cameras and autonomous parking. Inside, it features upgraded front seats with massage, leather upholstery, aluminum sport pedals and wireless smartphone charging. Genesis Digital Key 2 allows owners to use that phone as the vehicle key.
The Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview is standard on every six-cylinder G80. In addition to everything standard on the 2.5T Advanced, the 3.5T Sport Advanced includes leather upholstery, aluminum trim, massaging seats, Digital Key 2 and wireless phone charging.
Like the 2.5T Sport Prestige, the 3.5T Sport Prestige gets a sport-tuned suspension and upgraded brakes, but it also includes an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential, rear-wheel steering and 20-inch wheels.
