2026 Lexus LC 500, 500 Convertible Get Inspiration Series

Lexus’ LC 500 luxury coupe returns for the 2026 model year with minor updates, including new exterior colors as well as a limited edition variant, the Inspiration Series. The four-seater also sees a small price increase for the new model year.

What’s New With the 2026 Lexus LC 500?
The biggest news is what’s gone for 2026: The hybrid model is not returning to the lineup. The LC 500’s 471-horsepower, 5.0-liter V-8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission carries over, however, and returns as the sole powertrain. Rear-wheel drive is again standard.
What’s new is the Inspiration Series; it includes a new exclusive color, Smoke Matte Gray. It’s limited to 200 units in North America and adds exterior and interior design cues. Outside, the Inspiration Series wears a carbon-fiber roof, carbon-fiber rear fixed spoiler and 21-inch Matte Black forged alloy wheels with red brake calipers. It also sports blacked out exterior parts along the grille, headlights, taillights, rocker garnishes and mirrors.
Inside, Inspiration-specific details include sport seats, a black and white color palette, and a unique serialized badge on the center console. Standard added convenience goodies include a Mark Levinson sound system, a heated steering wheel and a head-up display.
Otherwise, the LC carries over for 2026 with a small price bump. It will continue to be made in Japan and starts at $101,700, which is $500 more than the outgoing version (all prices include $1,450 destination fee). The LC 500 goes on sale in the fall.

What’s New With the 2026 Lexus LC 500 Convertible?
The LC 500 Convertible also gets a new Inspiration variant that will be limited to 350 units for North America. Aside from the exclusive Wind exterior color, the Inspiration wears a brown and silver convertible top and adds Saddle Tan and white semi-aniline leather seats, 21-inch wheels, blacked-out exterior elements and trim-specific center console badging.

Added convenience goodies for the Inspiration trim include the Climate Concierge system with upper body heating, a heated steering wheel and a Mark Levinson sound system. The Climate Concierge system automatically manages the air conditioner, seat heaters, neck heaters and steering-wheel heater to maintain a comfortable cabin.
The convertible starts at $109,200, which is $800 more than the 2025 model. It will also continue to be made in Japan and go on sale in the fall.
