Between its AMG Black Series performance variants and G-Class spin-offs like the G550 4×4 Squared, Mercedes is well versed in limited-production derivatives of its regular models. But lately, the automaker has been taking the easy route with special editions.
The 2026 Mercedes-AMG GLS63 Manufaktur Arctic Silver Edition follows in the tire tracks of vehicles like the CLA45 S Edition 1 and CLE53 Manufaktur Edition, distinguished with unique exterior and interior finishes instead of major engineering changes. The special-edition GLS63 is painted an exclusive Manufaktur Cirrus Silver Magno. (Manufaktur is Mercedes’ name for its palette of extra-cost paints, and Magno is its word for matte.)
So, it’s a matte-silver GLS63, but the Arctic Silver Edition also gets contrasting black and red accents outside and in. It rides on matte-black 23-inch wheels with red rim flanges and center-cap detailing, with red brake calipers peeking out. The AMG Night Package, which is available on the regular-production AMG GLS63, is included and features gloss-black exterior accents on the front and rear bumpers, side mirror housings and window surrounds. Dark-chrome exhaust finishers, matte-black roof rails and tinted glass aft of the B-pillars complete the exterior darkening. Inside, the SUV’s upper cabin is upholstered in red-and-black Nappa leather, with diamond-quilted seats and red-tinted carbon-fiber trim.
Release Date and Pricing
The 2026 Mercedes-AMG GLS63 Manufaktur Arctic Silver Edition will go on sale later this year. Production is limited to just 450 units globally; Mercedes-Benz has not yet said how many of those will come to the U.S., or how much they will cost. The regular GLS63 starts at $150,650 including destination, so a price somewhere in the mid-$160,000s seems likely.
