The smallest and most affordable electric vehicle in Mercedes-Benz’s EQ lineup, the EQB is a compact SUV that seats five or seven (with its optional third row). It received a slight face-lift for the 2024 model year and gained the latest version of the brand’s infotainment system. For 2025, there’s a new Exclusive trim level and an EQB Design Package that includes two-tone upholstery and rose-gold interior accents. The 2025 Mercedes-EQ EQB SUV starts at $54,200 (all prices include $1,150 destination charge).

What Are the 2025 Mercedes-EQ EQB’s Trim Levels?

The three EQB models are largely equivalent in terms of standard equipment, with their electric powertrains being the chief differentiator. The EQB250+ and EQB300 4Matic ride on 18-inch wheels, while the 350 4Matic is fitted with 19s. All feature LED exterior lighting, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power liftgate, keyless entry and start, and adjustable regenerative braking controlled with steering-wheel-mounted paddles. A panoramic moonroof is also standard on the EQB350 4Matic.

Inside are synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, 10 speakers and ambient lighting. Cabin tech consists of a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with augmented-reality navigation, voice control, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

All three EQBs are available with a pair of trim-level packages. For $1,100, the Exclusive trim adds heated front seats, a 12-speaker Burmester sound system and EQ Sound Experience synthesized in-cabin driving noises. The Pinnacle trim package includes everything from the Exclusive trim plus a head-up display and puddle lamps for $2,150.

Standard and Available Safety Features

The EQB’s standard safety suite is rather basic for a Mercedes-Benz, limited to just forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitors, automatic high beams and automated parking. The Driver Assistance Package is available on every EQB for $1,700 and adds adaptive cruise control, emergency steering assist, front cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane departure steering assist, blind spot intervention and lane change assist. Adaptive cruise control, road sign recognition, a 360-degree parking camera and a dashcam are all available as stand-alone options.
