How Much Is the 2026 Honda CR-V?

Honda expanded its off-road-oriented TrailSport trim to the CR-V compact SUV for 2026, updating the rest of the lineup with a newly standard 9-inch touchscreen and wireless phone charger. Pricier trim levels also get a standard 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, but otherwise, the automaker’s small SUV is unchanged for the new year.

What Are the 2026 Honda CR-V’s Trim Levels?
The entry-level CR-V LX rides on 17-inch steel wheels and features LED exterior lighting, push-button start, wireless phone charging, four speakers, and the new 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The EX sits on 18-inch aluminum wheels and gains a moonroof, keyless entry and remote start. Inside, it adds a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control and six speakers. Upgrading to the EX-L nets leather upholstery, a power-adjustable passenger seat and power liftgate, the 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and eight speakers.
Hybrid CR-Vs include Wi-Fi and black 18-inch wheels and exterior trim, but the Sport and Sport-L are otherwise equivalent to the EX and EX-L. Beyond its standard all-wheel drive and gray 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, the TrailSport’s only equipment upgrade is a heated steering wheel.
The range-topping Sport Touring Hybrid gets black 19-inch wheels, a hands-free power liftgate, rain-sensing windshield wipers, the heated steering wheel, Google Built-In and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
Standard and Available Safety Features
Standard safety tech on the 2026 CR-V includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure steering assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assist, road-sign recognition and automatic high beams. The LX and all Sport Hybrid models include blind spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert, while the EX-L, Sport-L and Sport Touring also get front and rear parking sensors.

What Are the 2026 Honda CR-V’s Powertrain Specs and MPG?
Gas-only CR-Vs are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder making 190 horsepower and 179 pounds-feet of torque and backed by a continuously variable automatic transmission. Hybrid models get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors good for total system output of 204 hp and 247 pounds-feet, also mated with a CVT.
Front-wheel drive is standard on most CR-V trim levels. AWD costs $1,500 on all but the TrailSport and Sport Touring Hybrid, where it is standard. Honda claims slightly different fuel-economy figures from 2025, with the turbo four returning an estimated 28/33/30 mpg city/highway/combined with front-drive and 27/31/29 with AWD. FWD hybrid models are rated at 43/36/40 and AWD hybrids at 40/34/37. The TrailSport’s all-terrain tires knock it down to 38/33/35 mpg. Official fuel-economy estimates from the EPA are, however, not yet available.
