Back to the Future: Infiniti ‘Edition 30’ Lineup Looks Back on 30 Years of Looking Forward

Infiniti Edition 30 vehicles

Los Angeles Auto Show organizers recently announced that this year’s show will be packed with reveals, and it sounds like Infiniti is showing up big time — at least in terms of volume. It’s using the auto show to celebrate “30 years of looking forward” and bringing a slew of special-edition vehicles that commemorate the milestone. The brand launched on Nov. 8, 1989.

The automaker announced that a full lineup of Infiniti “Edition 30” vehicles will make their debut at the show, including model-year-2020 versions of the Q50 and Q60 sedans along with QX50, QX60 and QX80 SUVs. Infiniti says the models will be limited to a specific quantity, but released few specifics beyond the model names of the limited-edition versions. The Nissan luxury brand also said the vehicles will receive specific exterior design treatments to differentiate them from the rest of the lineup.

Stay tuned for more information from the Los Angeles Auto show, which kicks off with a media-only preview Nov. 19. The 2019 L.A. auto show will open its doors to the public Nov. 22 through Dec. 1.
