Affected vehicles include model-year 2024-25 EV9 three-row SUVs. The issue is with the second- and third-row seat mounting bolts, which may be missing. Seats missing mounting bolts may not properly restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury.

To resolve the issue, dealers will inspect and install the missing bolts for free. Kia will notify owners Jan. 24, 2025, but those with further questions can contact the automaker at 800-333-4542 (Kia’s number for this recall is SC329), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
