Toyota Drops Price of 2017 RAV4

CARS.COM — Toyota announced that it is lowering the price of its compact SUV, the 2017 RAV4, effective immediately. The base model now starts at $25,370 with destination, a $500 reduction. It’s still a bit higher than its closest competitor, the 2017 Honda CR-V, which starts at $24,985.

Each gasoline-powered model in the RAV4 lineup sees a price drop: LE ($500), Limited ($925), SE ($1,195) and XLE ($1,330). The line-topping Platinum model does not get a discount, nor do any of the hybrid trims.
Our favorite feature of the RAV4 is its standard safety equipment, and it is the only vehicle in the compact SUV class to offer standard forward collision warning with autonomous braking and pedestrian detection. Lane departure warning with steering assist, automatic high beams and adaptive cruise control are also standard on all RAV4 models.
