The wait for the new Ford Bronco is so close to being over. The return of the off-road icon — and the debut of its Bronco Sport compact sibling — could almost be considered something of a fairytale … that is, if fairytales involved rescheduling a major event so as not to coincide with O.J. Simpson’s birthday and also lots of mud and rocks as positive aspects. But, fitting the fairytale theme, the public debut of the entire Bronco family of SUVs will take place July 13 across the Disney family of TV networks.

Three unique three-minute commercials will air, one on each channel, during the first commercial break in the 8 p.m. hour of the Eastern time zone. On ABC, the commercial will feature country music singer Kip Moore and one of the three Bronco models. The ESPN spot, meanwhile, will include a different Bronco and professional climber Brooke Raboutou. The last commercial, on National Geographic, will star “Academy Award-winning director and acclaimed cinematographer, photographer and professional climber Jimmy Chin” and the third member of the Bronco family. All three spots can be viewed on Hulu July 14.

Reservations for the new Bronco SUVs will open on Ford.com at 8 p.m. Eastern July 13, requiring a $100 deposit. Ford is also planning to open Bronco-themed “Off-Roadeos” in 2021. According to Ford, these will be “four off-roading and outdoor adventure playgrounds built for all skill levels, with experiences designed to build confidence and inspire Bronco owners to get out in the wild for years to come.” The obligatory online community and merchandising of Bronco-themed items will follow.

As always, be sure to check back with us often, as we’ll be covering the Bronco action as it happens.
