This is my second time buying a car from Bourne's and I'm just as happy as the first time. Both times, the price that I was given for my car that I was trading in was very good. The employees are friendly and helpful. It's nice to buy a car in a nonpressure environment. I couldn't believe how fast and easy it was. I highly recommend Bourne's.

First-time Buyer
I decided I wanted to make my first car purchase over six months ago. I visited many major dealerships in the area and was bait and switched and just overall treated pretty immaturely. It didn't help that I was entirely new to the whole car-buying process. It was a relief to visit Bourne's. I explained I was a first-time buyer, and John sat down with me and explained to me in detail typical loan amounts and cars for first-time buyers. I was given the chance to test drive multiple cars within my budget with no pressure throughout the whole process. Carlos also sat down with me and helped me decide on the right loan amount and term, and explained that to me in a way I could understand despite my lack of experience. I ended up purchasing a completely different car than I expected - which I love - and will be picking up on Monday. All in all it was a super easy experience, I was treated with respect, and I would absolutely recommend this dealership and would come back for future purchases. Thank you!

Purchase of a used car
My sales person was extremely friendly, helpful, and very accomodating. As far as dealing with the person who was registering my car and taking my payment he made the experience feel like it was an assembly line. I got the impression he really didn't like his job and was very lacking in his people skills. I called when I was returning to pick up the car later in the day and was then informed that they were still waiting to hear from my insurance company. I called my insurance company to inquire what the issue was and it seems that the dealership was having problems with their fax machine and it was not the fault of my insurance company at all. I felt the dealership should have followed through on their end to ensure that the required paperwork was completed as it was their responsibility not mine because I was the customer. I have always bought my cars from regular car dealerships and was always treated like they appreciated my business. Here at this dealership I just felt like a number. Perhaps it's because of their volume of sales but honestly, other than my salesman, the staff could use some customer service training. They need to realize that they wouldn't be in business if it weren't for the customer.

The Amazement Continues
Oh Bournes, how doth I love thee! My wife and I just completed our 6th and 7th transactions with Bourne's last weekend. That number doesn't reflect the countless others to friends of ours we have encouraged to do their car buying here. I often share the ease and excitement that comes along with the purchasing process with everyone in my social circle. You'd be amazed what I see on their computers when I turn around every now and then.......the Bourne's website......BIG SHOCKER! Bourne's gave me top dollar for my trade and got me a financing rate nearly 4 points lower than what they initially expected for my current purchase. That means they have banks working for you....NOT AGAINST YOU! Many people will talk about a great "experience" they have had. If you spend a little time looking you will see that many people are returning customers to Bourne's and are telling you about their "experience(s)"-plural. That should carry far more clout because reviews by those who make multiple purchases from one place are indicative of a trend with the one they are purchasing from. No hassle also means no pressure. I don't think a lot of people realize that. Sales isn't the only thing top notch with Bourne's either. I always purchase an extended warranty when I buy a vehicle from them. My last purchase was the only time I needed to use a warranty on so far but the process of getting the vehicle in and out was seamless. The hit that would have gone to my wallet would have been in the thousands but not with Portfolio's coverage. The plans Bourne's offer are legit and nothing like the scams offered in magazines or on television. Bourne's doesn't just deserve a good review....They deserve a round of applause!

Honest Dealership with Great Prices
I was looking to purchase my first car and found a 2008 Toyota Corolla S with 52,000 miles for only $9990. I went into the dealership the next day and met John Benner. He grabbed the car and I took it for a test drive and loved it. It had a few issues (an open recall on the car, dark tint, rusty lug-nuts). However, when I told John about these issues, he was quick to settle any worries I had and he addressed the issues right away. John was also almost always available by phone during the whole process. One day, when John was out sick, I went to the dealership to pick up the car so I could take it to an independent mechanic. When in the dealership, Shawn Weir got the car for me and put in my application for financing. He was slightly rude and brushed off any questions I asked. He was not helpful. When John was in the office the next day, I came back to settle the deal. He directed me to Andrew Gesner for help with financing. The first APR that they offered was 8.69%... YA, RIGHT! I was not going to accept that. I told them that I had a quote from another bank, and he re-submitted my application to other banks and credit unions that they work with. He was able to work the interest rate down to 4.99%! He was very helpful through the process. Finally, after purchasing the car, it failed inspection (window tint was too dark) but after calling John, he set me up with Mike Clark who immediately addressed the issue for free by scheduling a service appointment to have the window tint removed. Overall, I had a very good experience at the dealer. Most of their employees are helpful and nice. There are minor issues that could be addressed but I am extremely happy with the price and the car and the whole experience.

Great experience at Bourne's with John Benner!
My wife and I were buying a used car. This was the first time we had purchased a used car at a dealership and we were a little apprehensive about the process. John made us feel very welcome. He helped us locate the cars we wanted to test drive. We were quickly test driving three different vehicles. Once we had made our decision the purchasing process could not have gone smoother. We were very impressed with John and with the experience as a whole. We will definitely recommend Bourne's to anybody!
