Excellent Service

Management in 2018 did not stand by their sales but change in management in 2019 went above and beyond to backup their sales. Presently an excellent service facility

The service dept is run like most in the nation, "problem...

The service dept is run like most in the nation, "problem is going to take several visits before we can figure this out and narrow the solution down" . Fairly new truck with less than 4000 miles, starter won't engage. 3 trips to their service dept and the problem returned within 2 weeks each time. They told me the next fix they were going to try was a $2500 new wiring harness. Went to Advance Auto Parts store and they recommended a new starter relay ($ 23 ) which solved the problem. These folks cost me many wasted hours and $ 560.00 dollars for absolutely no resolution to the problem which I'm thinking they knew how to fix all along. When the counter guy at the auto parts store knows more about fixing a Ford truck than the supposedly "factory trained" ford mechanics, Auto Nation Fords service department deserves a minus rating in my opinion.

So - I got in touch with the service manager at Auto Nation Ford Bradenton and we discussed the situation. He was genuinely concerned about how the repair of my truck was handled by his service people and I'm thinking that some new procedures may have resulted. He was quite positive that the failure to repair the problem with my truck was not intentional and was the fault of a good/bad starter relay. The result was that AutoNation Ford of Bradenton refunded all my moneys, (which was totally unexpected) and has led me to the conclusion that I would recommend them as a good business to deal with.

Awesome Service department

Great service, professional and friendly. I was out of town, needed the truck diagnosed because the engine check light came on. Moses was very helpful. The truck was diagnosed, to fixed and tested. Very satisfied.

Recall appointment

Now for the third time, a service Rep that I dealt with never called back, my car sat in the auto shop for a long time And I had to call them to find that out so they could send a driver to pick me up, I explained 3 times to call me as soon as it was available because I had to work that day. Like always I had to call, and they answer I got was, oh yeah the mechanic said car has been ready, My appointment was 9 am I got vehicle at 1:40 pm and had to be at work by 2pm, the Service Rep said he would call and I would get to work in plenty of time, My issue is if I never called , I would of not got my car back that day or on time like promised.

Program MY Key Fob

I needed a new key fob programed. I went to the service writer Steven . He got my info and asked me to wait. In about a half hour he told me the car was ready with the new programed key fob. He walked out to the car with me and had me try to work everything with the fob. Everything worked great. He thanked me for my business and I left happy. This was a good experience.
