I was looking to downsize my payment and trade vehicles and thought I`d be trading in Lexington since I live there but was so impressed with Rudi Grentz in Somerset that I made a special trip back to deal with him. He went above and beyond to help me find what I wanted and stay in my budget. He actually followed up and was very courteous, and consistent. He knew I was on a time crunch that day and had everything ready and made the whole transaction extremely easy for me. Probly the most efficient buying process I`ve ever experienced! I will definitely recommend and use him for all future needs! Also, shout out to Phillip in Finance for a quick and painless process. Both are extremely knowledgeable and offer outstanding customer service! (I am in sales so I know what I`m talking about)

Let me start by saying I'm not the easiest customer to...
Let me start by saying I'm not the easiest customer to deal with. I'm extremely particular and I ask an overabundance of questions by my own personal nature and the nature of my profession. In my search for a new vehicle, I searched on multiple platforms and contacted dealers within 200 miles of my home in order to find what I was after at a reasonable price. That served to be a difficult task in the current market. After 2 bad experiences in less than 1 month, I was reluctant to contact another out-of-state dealer. After finding a vehicle that seemed to fit most of my search criteria, I contacted Don Franklin and gave it another try. I first reached Makayla who was very helpful in getting me in contact with a sales individual and providing some initial photos of the vehicle as there were none available online given the vehicle was just listed. I was put in contact with Rudi who would proceed to provide me with the best service I have ever received at a dealership. I've purchased 7 other cars over the course of the last 20 years and I have never experienced customer service quite as he provided. Being nearly 5 hours away from the dealership, I wanted to cover all bases before making the journey to purchase the vehicle. Rudi obliged by providing me numerous photos of the vehicle, including multiple interior, exterior and mechanical, even when he had to endure the elements outside to do so. He presented me with a top offer on my trade, meeting or exceeding what other dealers offered, and worked with me to obtain the most competitive financing rate possible. After much deliberation and multiple text messages, I decided I wanted to move forward with the vehicle. Rudi offered to have the vehicle brought halfway to me so I would not have to make the full 5-hour journey. However, due to my nature, I wanted to see and drive the vehicle before making the purchase, something I would not be able to do if they were to meet me with the vehicle. After traveling to the dealer, my wife and I were greeted in the parking lot by Rudi. He had the keys to the vehicle in hand and had it pulled to the front of the building, ready to go. After taking the vehicle for a test drive, it was clear that the quality was as advertised and I needed to move forward with the purchase. Rudi had the majority of the documentation prepared prior to our arrival, so the only waiting that occurred was financing, which was a short amount of time overall. This gave us time to get to know Rudi, who openly talked about our experience and himself as if we had known each other our entire life. By the end of the transaction, I felt like I was purchasing from a friend, not just a salesman. I would recommend Don Franklin and in particular, Rudi, to all who were looking for a new or used vehicle. It was well worth the time it took to travel to their location just to experience the fantastic service that was provided. I will keep them in mind for future purposes and I hope to keep in contact with Rudi for years to come.

I feel "ripped off", lied to, cheated and taken for. I...
I feel "ripped off", lied to, cheated and taken for. I took my vehicle in for some minor repair/replacement items, this morning. One of which was a passenger sun visor. I had purchased one and wanted them to replace the old with the new. They claimed that they couldn't b/c it was the wrong sun visor, that it was one for the driver side and NOT that of the passenger's. I was confused. I knew that I had purchased the correct one for my truck. I left after paying my bill of the other two items that were repaired. I looked up my purchase history to where I bought the visor. The visor that was returned to me and placed in the box of purchase was clearly the wrong visor. I am certain and without doubt that they took my NEW sun visor and placed it in their stock and replaced it with a badly USED one. Besides that mess... there was grease smudges and smears all inside my 2007 GMC immaculate truck. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO GOOD SERVICE? I will not be returning!

From the beginning of the experience with Don Franklin everything was professional and courteous! It began with a young lady named Kendra Bumgardner taking my tons of questions about multiple cars and getting me answers and then setting up an appointment for me. When I arrived for my scheduled time I was met by Rudi Grentz who was absolutely the best salesman I have ever interfaced with and with over 50 years of buying cars it says a lot. I told him what I was looking for, what I was looking to pay and what car payments I expected. He nailed it first thing and deal was done! I will buy my future cars from this young man and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle!

Poor Business Practices
I called about a vehicle on Saturday mid day. I told the dealership I was out of town but I intended to buy a vehicle they had and I would put a deposit on it if needed. I was told no they will put it aside for me and put a note on it. I called Monday morning at 8:30 am and was told they sold the vehicle late Saturday evening. No phone call, no hey what do you want to do? I literally tried to put a financial hold on this vehicle and they sold it out from under me. Poor business practice guys!
