BMW tire replacement

I recently got a nail in my tire and went to the dealership to replace it. I had purchased CarePlus for the tires and my service tech Ryan helped to get the process completed while I waited.

Global BMW

Global BMW installed a driver side airbag retrofit in my 2007 X-3 per BMW's recall. Global secured the parts for me, emailed reminders of my appointment, checked me in in a friendly, efficient manner, completed the work in less time than estimated and provided a complimentary car wash. Obviously, I was very happy with their service standards.

Informational

My experience there was very informational, Erin was very knowledgeable and was helpful in any questions I had. When the overall check up was over Erin came and spoke with me about what was found, she was very educated on the issue. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with my interaction with Erin, is that they could not find my car. One of the guys had said maybe it was labeled incorrectly. Maybe they could come up with a better system when doing services and washing cars for individuals who opt to have their car washed. Overall my experience was good, the lobby was clean and quiet , I was able to do homework while connected to their wifi.

False Diagnostics

I paid $150 for diagnostics on my 2005 BMW X.3 3.0 . I was told that my intake boot I needed an valve cover seal and a flash. The intake boot was incorrect that was a brand-new intake to put on in May 2016 I replace the valve cover seal and the flash wasn't even needed. Needless to say none of these diagnosis was the cause of my check engine light. It had been discovered that my MAF sensor was the cause of my check engine light . Since having this repaired on my own I find it Global Imports Bmw was of no help to me for the $150 if they were paid
