I was working with an online sales man. We worked out a price for the truck. I went by later to finish the purchase and the truck I wanted had been sold the night before. I left the business unhappy and I am still unhappy.

Ford Raptor

Total Misdiagnosis
I am taking the time to write this about my experience with the local General Motors dealership. I took it up to the General Motors dealership explained to the service wtiter and the manager who I personally knew and what I had done for my troubleshooting and ask him if he could possibly help me determine Where the vacuum leak was at. They called me the next day and told me that the technician had determined that it was a badd engine control module and that the oxygen sensors signals was not getting to the ECM Cost of repair $900. To me that made no sense at all since I had already proven that the fuel trims would return to normal if I plug off the PCV valve tube so I asked the service writer to ask the technician if he had plugged off the tube as I had because if he had he would see that the fuel trims had returned to normal he told me he would call me back. After 3 hours I call them back and he said good news you are correct it was not a badd ECM it Has a vacuum leak on top of the intake manifold cost of repair $1200. I asked them how much the intake manifold was and they said $349 it takes approximately one and a 1/2 hours to remove intake manifold so I did not understand where the $800 more labor was. I was told they were charging me 2 hours diagnostic time and then another 2 hours to install the intake manifold and replaced the bolts they're made out of steel that are not stretch to yield and could have been used over. So I immediately asked him you're charging me $200 for a misdiagnosis that your technician stated that it had a bad ECM, and had I approved that repair you would have installed an ECM and not fixed the problem and then turned around and sold me and intake manifold for another $1000. I called the service manager who I am personal friends with. I explained passionately that all I was trying to do Was save this individual some money. I stated I would let them install the manifold if they waved the 1st $200 diagnostic fee which was totally wrong they refused to do so. I went and pick the vehicle up myself I bought the intake manifold I brought home I found a bolt they never even tightened up, I fixed a leak with a ten cent bolt with thread locker.

Buyer beware. I went to GARBER to get a ride.
I put all my cards on the table ,my credit not so good. A spent all day there . Well they found financing for me. I'm thinking great. Then they hit me with ( we need a 1000 ) they knew I didn't have it they knew from the start. Apparently they didn't put all there cards on the table. I walked home that day. PRICE OF A EDUCATION. So I've been working hard and saving up for a down payment. In the future be a straight shooter like I was with you.

New 2019 GMC Terrain Denali
I just bought my 2nd SUV from Garber Buick GMC Chevrolet this month and the sales and service department are outstanding. Two weeks ago, I leased a new 2019 Chevy Equinox Premier for my wife and just today I leased a new 2019 GMC Terrain Denali for myself. Both times, my sales person, AJ Damron, was fantastic. AJ is informative about the GM products without being pushy or sly. He is a young man with a solid future in the new car business for those individuals who don't look forward to dealing with slick salespeople; thank you very much AJ!!! Also, his manager, Zach Swarthout, is another fine employee of Garber Automall and I would like to thank him for working his magic again behind the scenes to get me the number I wanted for my trade vehicle (both time this month). The process took a little while but we got there in the end and twice in the same month! Thank you to Zach as well. If you are looking for a new GMC, Buick, or Chevrolet vehicle, please consider going to the slower pace of Green Cove Springs for your purchase or lease as these folks know how to do business! Finally, and I did not mention Mike in the finance department but he is also outstanding and does not try to up sell you on everything under the sun when signing the paperwork. Thanks Mike as I appreciate how quickly you made the finance part of the transaction work today as you did on April 11th when I got my wife her Equinox. Great dealership!!!

My car buying experience
This is the third car we have purchased from Garber. Every time their customer service has been exceptional in every way. They go out of their way to see that their customers are satisfied. This time our sales person was Patrick. He worked with us to get us a really good deal on n new jeep compass. I was very pleased with my buying experience and if we are ever in the need for another car this is where will go.
