History of lieing! And deceiving customers! Like they say beware!! If they say it's paid it's not! Read all fine print! In the end I have to pay registration again!

I purchased a truck from them, have only paid 2 payments and it already broke down. I called own a car and they refuse to pay to get it fixed. I have bought 2 trucks from them, I will never buy a car from them again. Please don't buy a car from own a car. They are crooks and they lie to people who are buying a car from them.

Don't come to this place! They will lie that they check the car and then when the car breaks down, they will lie and say you did modifications to it. They have you sign an arbitration contract for a reason, so they don't lose for situation like this. Full of xxxx. Lost out of money for a piece of xxxx car from a piece of xxxx place. Be ready for a lawsuit regardless of the arbitration because you guys lie to take money from people who work hard for their money! Auto fraud at its finest! Advice to everyone who thinks about buying your car here, DON'T! Go to a real dealership with legit contracts and get REAL help from them. You guys buy a car from Own A Car, expect it to break down less than a month and they're going to blame you that you did something to the car or you drove past milage when it's them who doesn't want to fix THEIR OWN MISTAKES! If you guys look at their reviews and their complaints, you will see that A LOT of people has purchased from them and less than a month later, their transmission goes out. They claim their techs check it and also have third parties check it, but if that was really the truth, why do so many people all complain about the same issues with different cars. I'm telling you guys, whether you believe me or not, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Their arbitration contract is there for a reason. They know what kind of cars they're selling to everyone, but this is how they avoid getting sued! Red flag!! Worst place to buy your first car! Management won't help either, they'll blame you and tell you to take them to court because you won't have proof that they sold you a xxxxed up car!

MAR LO 88 reviews just now NEW There 500 dollars down is a gimmick, if your credit score is 700 or better maybe you will get the 500 down. If your score is low and medium, they want 5000 down. If you have the kind of money down why would you go there, I'll rather buy a used car of the streets with that 5000 and have no monthly payments. Plus the sales person wouldn't allow me to see any cars before I went inside.

I really tried to look at trucks at this dealership but was completely blocked at every opportunity by sales associates demanding that I give them my information and trying to force me to go sit down inside dispite my best efforts to simply look at what trucks this dealership had available. The sales associates did not care about letting me see anything. All they wanted to do was surround me and my children to make us uncomfortable as they tried to pressure me into things I did not want to do. This was 100% the worst experience I've ever had at any dealership I've ever been to. My kids were scared and at no point did we feel welcome or like we mattered. Not a single person listened to me or respected a single thing I was there for. They were over the top with pressure and demands dictating every everything. We were not free to look around at all even when we asked to be left alone. They followed us around with nonstop questions and demands that we go inside. When we finally gave in and went inside we were told over and over again to sit down at a desk which I refused as I was there to look for a truck before doing paperwork. They then telling us we had to be out with another person. This contued for about 45 minutes of being passed off from person to person without ever being able to actually look at anything. The truck I was there to look at I was told was at their other lot a couple blocks away. The sales associate continuously tried to get me to ride with him to the other lot after explaining to him numerous times I had my two children with me one only two years old that I would take my own vehicle so she could be buckled in safely to drive to the other lot he continued to insist that we ride with him instead. Finally after he agreed that we could drive up there in our own vehicle said he would meet us there and he never did. Their other lot also did not have the truck that we were there to see they informed us that the truck was taken to the shop for repairs and that it was not available to be seen. They then sent us back to the first lot when we arrived we attempted to walk down the sidewalk to avoid the sales associates to look at one of the trucks on the side of the building but they immediately followed us over there. I 100% would not recommend this dealership to anyone as their entire goal is to make you uncomfortable get you inside their office to sign papers before you even know what you're buying or ever get a chance to see it.

Had a great time getting a new car thanks to Isaac I was able to find the one I wanted and got a good deal thank you Own a Car.

ZERO stars NOT recommend!!! I thought I purchased a car and drove off the lot...thinking things were fine and financed. Less than a month later, they came and took the car and refuse to refund my $3,000 down payment breaching the legal contract! The salesman messed up and now I'm in a legal dispute to get my money back... Heck the car hadn't even been detailed! Would NOT recommend to anyone.... Legally, I will receive my money back, but the hassle is ridiculous... Zero stars for this place and their sales reps

I Initially went in for a truck after running my numbers they said my credit wasn't good enough for a truck so they sold me a 2015 Acura tlx said it had Ben in a MINOR FENDER BENDER had me sign the paperwork and said bring it back in 6 months we can trade it in the first day I got home and tried to take my kids for a ride I noticed both seats belts in back seat where 3/4 way ripped I immediately contacted them and made them aware of situation and after giving me run around pandemic hit a year went by and my vehicle began to shake when I exceeded 65mph and soon. After had major electrical malfunctions so In 2021 I make contact again after pandemic slows down and I make them aware and they give me the run around so I go to BBB and they finally give in and agree to change my seat belts for new ones I attempted to trade vehicle in they wanted 6k on top of the vehicle I said no way I don't have that money and you guys sold me a vehicle that is unsafe so I pay for my own car fax and I discovered that not only was it not involved in a MINOR FENDER BENDER but it has sustained SEVERE MAJOR DAMAGE all around the vehicle and the car fax they showed me magically didn't show that, it showed every thing else except the major accident was missing ! So they lied and scammed me when they told me it was a safe reliable family vehicle only to find out it came with no seat belts and major electrical issues due to major accident it was involved in and the wobble when going 65+ is due to frame damage or frame being bent from what I Ben told ..so in conclusion I have acquired services from an attorney and will be pursuing legal action !

We went in looking for a family car and the car we chose didn’t even make it home because there was a crazy amount of BLACK SMOKE COMING OUT ! We exchanged it and now this car is constantly in the shop let’s not mention the fact that they didn’t even give us a contract stating who gave us the loan that was whole other mess ( 2022)
