Service was prompt.

Service was prompt. Everyone was so friendly. Restrooms were close. Coffee was available. I would remove the rolling chairs. Should have realized not to seat my husband in one. A wonderful gentleman came to his rescue. Thank you for everything.

I had an engine light issue with my new 2023 XLT Maverick

I had an engine light issue with my new 2023 XLT Maverick that Shawn VanAntwerp successfully assisted me with. The problem was diagnosed, parts were ordered and a week I went back and the parts were successfully installed and I was happily on my way. I appreciated the professional service by all at AutoNation.

Incompetent Service

I called to confirm that a car showing online was truly on the lot. I was put on hold and then told the car was there and available. My husband drove 35 minutes to get there to be delayed and then finally told the car was not there. The manager's excuse was that sometimes people make mistakes. Will never shop here - horrible, incompetent service. Not to mention the place is completely run down.

No one likes the idea of having vehicle problems but at AutoNation Ford Amherst the process of maintenance or repairs are handled keeping you totally informed through the process. Shawn VanAntwerp was my coordinator. My vehicle had to remain in the shop for several days while parts were being sourced.

I always ask for Shawn V. when bringing my car in for service. He has always treated me with respect and honesty. I thought due to the age of my ESCAPE I night of been ready for new tires, but Shawn checked my tires and let me know I should be fine for now. We will look at this again on my next visit. Unfortunately, it was time for me to replace my rear brakes, the parts were in stock and although my wait time became longer i was able to get this taken care of during this visit!
