I bought a beautiful VW Passat from Doug Post. I thought he was one of the finest salesmen i have ever seen, and I spent 30 years working at a car dealership. I will be needing another car in the next few months and I will be going back to Ramsey Corp to see Doug.

found reasonable deal on lo mileage (3.5K) 2011 Outback. Very nice sales staff. Generally a painless process. Only problem discovered after pick up was low tire pressure on all tires. No exp yet with service.

Today January 11, 2012, I purchased a Ford F150 from Ramsey Corp. on Rt. 23 in West Milford, NJ. Purchasing a pre-owned vehicle is generally something that I would consider to be somewhat of a scary proposition. Well, after the experience I had today, I have a newfound appreciation for the way a couple of people went out of their way to make this event memorable for me. With their great variety of vehicles, Ramsey Corp has something to fit any budget and need. Personally, I dealt with a salesman by the name of Anthony today and even though my limited budget had me seeking an older model truck, he was exceptionally patient and extremely thorough in assisting me. Where the steriotypical "Used Car Salesman" would have pointed me to the back corner of the lot and sought out another one of the many customers waiting to purchase a vehicle that would have netted a much greater profit, Anthony was quite the opposite. He recognized my unique situation, listened to my needs, and spent several hours aiding me in ensuring that I was making the smartest purchase that I could. Once I had finally made up my mind that this was the perfect truck for me, Anthony called the Sales manager Jerry over to assist with the rest of the transaction. I was quite pleasantly suprised to find Jerry to be a very fair, honest guy with a genuine concern for his customer's satisfaction. After all was said and done today, I not only left their car lot with a new truck, but I also left with a great feeling about the character of people I had just dealt with. After all, to get me to spend a half hour filling out this review, they must have made quite an impression on me. I would not only recommend these two fine men to anyone in need of a "new to you" vehicle, but I am actually looking forward to the springtime when I will be looking for a Jeep Wrangler as well. I know the only stop that I will have to make. If they don't have exactly what I want on the lot, Anthony and Jerry said that they will surely find what I am looking for, and call me when they do. And you know what? For the first time in my life, I believe every word of what these 2 "Used car salesman" are telling me. Thank you Ramsey Corp for making my car buying experience a great one!

I purchased a car from them. This was not the first used car I've bought in a liftime, so I expected them to wash it and fill up the gas tank like they're supposed I and like every other car dealer normall does. They didn't do any of that, they basically just handed it over to you straight from someone else's garage. I had to pay $100 to get it detailed. I have a friend who purchased a used car from them, and she said her car was impeccable when she picked it up with a full tank of gas. Also, they took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get my plates. What was the big deal? If I didn't call them every day to remind them, they would have given me temporary plates month to month. The place is terrible. I knew this coming in, but the car I bought was hard to find so I just dealt with it. Going by other reviews by previous customers on various sites, most of their cars had problems. I'm lucky that I get free mechanic service from a close friend or I Ramsey Corp really would have screwed me as bad as their other customers. I don't recommend them. Even though they offer some sort of warranty I don't even trust them to fix it.

I just bought a 2002 Subaru Forester about three days ago from Ramsey Corporation. Everything seemed fine except when I test drove the car, the clutch pedal squeaked and the belts slipped and made lots of noise. They told me they would have their mechanic fix the issue but when they brought the car back nothing had changed. I figured since I had experience with Subarus I might as well just fix it myself since it was simple maintenance. Before I even got home with my new forester, the check engine light came on. I brought it straight to my mechanic and it turned out to be a bad catalytic converter- which could cost up to $1800. Ramsey Corporation had sold me a car needing a catalytic converter and had the engine light shut off right before I purchased it, and now they won't fix it or reimburse me. I would not ever in my life recommend this car dealer to anyone, and hope that anyone reading this can find the car they're looking for elsewhere.

I bought a used Mazda3 from them and it was great! Before this car I always bought from someone I knew or a private seller. Only once before, about 2 yrs ago, did I try to buy from a different dealership in Queens, NY and it was an overall bad experience. RAMSEY CORP.COM was Great!! Very laid back, no pressure, very helpful. I found a mistake they made and they addressed it quickly. I was nervous about deciding to get my 1st auto loan and they were willing to wait and hold the car for me for a few days til I made my decision. They also took the time to explain how registration would work since I planned to register it out of state. I also needed the title mailed to a specific address and their customer service was very nice. Buying a car from Ramsey Corp.com was a great experience!!

Worked with Anthony. He spent a lot of time understanding exactly what type of vehicle I was looking for, its purpose, and proposed price range. He was cordial, a good listener, and understood my requirements. The new facility is very nice, well appointed and comfortable. No hard sales pitches to move vehicles off the lot; rather a desire to find the right vehicle at the right price. There are some nice vehicles on the lot - check it out.

I had recently purchased a vehicle from Ramsey Corp in West Milford,NJ. While my credit application was pending,Ramsey Corp let me take the vehicle home. I urgently needed the vehicle and had put several hundred miles on it. Some unexpected issues were found on my credit report and the loan was denied. I returned the vehicle to James at Ramsey Corp. He understood my situation and simply just took the vehicle back and agreed to return my full deposit. I even offered to pay for the mileage I had put on the vehicle, but James said not to worry about it. I don't think many other dealers would have done this for me. Ramsey Corp is a "class act". I will definately return to them in the future.

I bought a used car from Ramsey Corp. They have a knowledgeable and friendly staff with a no pressure approach. I worked with the salesman James and he did a great job working with me on the financing and making sure I was comfortable with the purchase. The car needed tires and brakes which should have been taken care of before it was listed. Ramsey did compensate me for these after I pointed them out so everything was fine. The repair shop is in another building which is a short drive away. I didn't get any work done there but the guys seemed knowledgeable and honest. Overall I am very happy with this dealer. I got a nice car for a great deal, and they addressed the concerns I had. I recommend this dealer and the salesman James to anyone interested in a car.
