Marshal Mize Ford is unethical and deserves no one's
Marshal Mize Ford is unethical and deserves no one's business. They just tried to sell me a 2010 Lexus that "passed' a full inspection in their service center. We brought it to our mechanic who found NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS worth of problems and said they had steamed cleaned the bottom of the car to hide the leaks. They also have a non-negotiable $800 doc fee!!!!! DISGUSTING. PREDATORY. DISHONEST. UNETHICAL.

The 2010 Lexus you looked at is a 15-year-old vehicle with over 130,000 miles. It was clearly listed and disclosed as an as-is, wholesale-to-the-public unit, meaning it does not come with a warranty and is priced accordingly for someone looking for a budget-friendly vehicle who understands it may need future maintenance. Before your decision, we encouraged you to take the vehicle to your own mechanic, which you did. You returned with an estimate for repairs that exceeded $9,000 — and we respected your decision to pass on the vehicle. That’s exactly why we allow third-party inspections. Not every older, high-mileage unit is the right fit for every customer. As for our process, we completed a full safety inspection in-house and invested over $1,500 in reconditioning prior to offering it for sale, including new rear brakes, two new tires, a fresh oil change, and a new battery. We do not “hide” anything — and we certainly don’t steam clean undercarriages to mislead anyone. That accusation is simply false. Lastly, regarding the documentation fee: our $800 doc fee is fully disclosed and complies with state regulations. It’s used to cover administrative costs like titling, lien processing, and compliance — and is non-negotiable across all transactions. We stand behind how we handled this situation — with transparency, professionalism, and no pressure to buy. To be quite honest we didn’t buy the Transit van from Mize. Mainly because on their advise. They told us it would be better for us to make our purchase at the dealership where they found the van we wanted because it would save us thousands in transportation fees. The salesman Cory and manager Greg were some of the best people I’ve met in years. Honest. Helpful. It was truly a blessing. I would recommend getting your next vehicle from this young man, Cory in a second.

They only had one oil change tech I was told.
They only had one oil change tech I was told. In his rush to finish my bronco he left the lid off the washer fluid and seemingly never filled it. I put half a gallon in once I arrived home. Everything else was fine.

I am 64, 35 year retired Navy and 10 year government empoyee so I KNOW xx whenI see it, Could NOT BE more happy with my exoperience at Marshal Mize Ford. I paid cash for a 2025 XLT Ranger. Salesman Chris Bellows was THE BEST. No pressure, I told him what I wanted and he GOT IT DONE. Picked it up today and the signing and acccetance was easy and seamless. Chris then showed me the features, by the time we were done, I didn;t know whether we were flying to Mars or I ws driving my truck home. THE BEST car buying experience EVER
