They were there for us when we needed them.
My wife and I recently had a vehicle problem several hundred miles from our home. I have an aversion to having work done on our vehicles by anyone that I haven’t established a working relationship with, especially out of town. I’m probably not alone in this, as most people have heard the horror stories associated with having vehicle service/mechanical work done while on the road. The vehicle began making a loud, mechanical sound which immediately caused to me to somewhat panic. All sorts of scenarios occurred to me. Wheel bearing? Turbo? Transmission? What could this be? How much is this going to cost? Surely this can’t be driven, or at least not far! How am I going to get this vehicle home? Rent a vehicle? How and what needs to be done? My wife reached out to her friend Felecia Hartnell, whose husband Jeremy Hartnell works at Long-Lewis Ford in Muscle Shoals, AL. Jeremy immediately called us and told us to expect Mark, the Service Manager, to call, which he did immediately thereafter. He listened to my panicked, wildly-wrong guesses of possible problems, and finally got a decent description of what was really happening. He made a long-distance diagnosis, told me what to do to test the diagnosis, offered a temporary work-around, and then reassured me that the vehicle could indeed be driven home with no ill-effects. An appointment was made, and the problem was fixed. This is the short version. He spent a lot of time on the phone educating me. In the end, it was made into a very simple and straight-forward process. What made this any different or why do I feel compelled to write a review? Their immediate response, to what to us, was an emergency. Their ability to reassure and calm us was invaluable. The competence and professionalism of the Service Manager was impressive. He knows the systems of the products that he services. He can, in this case, diagnose a problem from afar…he has seen it before. At the end of the day, we felt we were in good hands. Great service and staff
I definitely recommend the quick lane at Muscle Shoals location. I had Tim Fields as service advisor. He and his mechanic did a wonderful job and explained everything they did. I even got a free car wash. We have used the quick lane for years and plan to continue.

Corruption in the service department
The Issue: Erratic misfire with "Hill Descent Fault Control and Service AdvanceTrac" lights on. They told me to be there at 8:00am to look at the issue. Then 5Hrs later they finally got with me to tell me that I will need a new MAF Sensor CABLE to start ranging from $630.00 and could be as high as $850.00 which the part actually cost about $45.00 at the most and as they told me 1 hour to install. So I said let's do it ! , but they said we don't have the cable you will have to come back tomorrow at 8:00AM. So while I was there I decided to ask them how did you come up with this...show me. The technician took me out there and pulled the MAF sensor off the plug slid it back and forth and stated that when he pushed it forward the lights would go off. Hmmm. Let's back track just a bit, at 7:00 am and just before getting there "I" slid that sensor cable connector back which locks in place mind you and applied electrical tape so it wouldn't fan into the radiator fan blade. So now back to the service department, after pulling away with my vehicle and going around the corner I got out and reconnected and locked my cable back in place of which the mechanic if wanted to be nice and honest could have saved me a fortune and lost time. But they want the MONEY!!!!!. Also he took off the electrical tape and didn't care if it fell into the fan. My perspective is that the place needs to do a time study they are paying for too many people (labor) just to stand around, I even had a guy between me and the technician. Multiple people standing around doing nothing. This is why our service is high and corrupt and our vehicles are outrages in price. I feel sorry for some people who have little money or on a budget, this is not fair to them or anyone.

Long Lewis Loyal
Long Lewis deserves infinite stars in my humble opinion. In 2020 I was recovering from cancer and driving a 1996 Honda. I was going back and forth from the Shoals to Huntsville for my doctor's appointments. I needed a newer car. I went to Long Lewis praying for just a decent used car with my fixed income and poor credit. Adrienne was my sales representative and she made the impossible... possible. I bought a 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and she got me an affordable car note. At the end of 2021 a speed bump damaged my front bumper and Long Lewis handled the repairs. They did and amazing job and then some. Mitsubishi sends me coupons for oil changes and repairs which Long Lewis honors everytime. Most recently, when I needed tires, they got me the best deal and beat everyone else's prices.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience! I have owned mostly GM vehicles my whole life but after a bad experience with them I tried out Ford at Long Lewis of the Shoals. I could not have been happier and I now have purchased 4 vehicles from them. They go way above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and truly care.
