I Was looking for a truck with certain options as necessary. The selection was good enough that we found a truck that met my needs. The sales agent was great and we got it finished up quick.

New Silverado, wearing tires
Bought brand new 2019 Silverado 4x4 from Mcneil Chevy. At 33,000 miles mcneil servcies dept informed me the tires were worn out on the inside and need replaced. Had vehicle aligned and new tires installed and they wore out after 31,000 miles with same issue; wearing on inside(middle and outside still had plenty of tread). I've just put on my 3rd set of tires and my truck has 64,000 miles. Truck has been serviced at McNeil every 5000 miles including tire rotation. My first issue is that the servcies dept should have been communicating to me tires are wearing ,need to look at something instead of waiting until they're so bad they have to be replaced. Second issue is that either they didn't do correct alignment or there is some other suspension problems for both sets of tires to be wearing out at exactly the same place and same mileage.

McNeil Chevrolet Buick Hwy 421 Wilkesboro, NC
McNeil Chevrolet is the place to go to order a new vehicle! Everything went so smoothly. We got our truck in an amazing 5 weeks! Special ordering a new vehicle is quite an exciting endeavor. A special thanks to Zach Huffman, our sales consultant who helped us decide the style Colorado to purchase. (He even called us to let us know the status of our truck on his day off!); Ben Mockerman, who patiently sat down and helped us order the truck and kept us posted on production of the vehicle. (Example- Good Morning Mrs. Turner. Your truck now has a VIN number.); Kenneth Pardue, sales manager, who helped us work out a great affordable deal; Anthony York, our friendly and caring finance manager, who was quite in tune to our personal needs as new vehicle owners; and Chad Harris, who was there when we picked up the truck since Zach was off that day. ( He took a picture of us standing next to the truck with our keys in hand. Hey, that extra black side molding we ordered to go down the side of our truck really dressed it up! We are so pleased.) And don't forget the Service Department who ordered our extras and got our truck ready for us to pick up in a timely manner. Thanks to everyone! Just a great staff to work with there at McNeil. We're family.

Terrible customer service
Be careful buying pre owned with them! My husband (whose truck is literally his job) traded a 2020 Dodge Ram with them that we had a lot of equity in for a Chevy Silverado. Less than 48 hours of owning the Silverado, it ended up in the shop. We were told it was fixed and then it messed up again. Long story short, we had to rent a truck for over $1000.00 per week and we're told it would be fixed in 1 week. Then 2 weeks rolled around. Then 3. Until finally we had to go buy another truck just because we couldn't keep renting for over $1000 per week. When we approached McNeil Chevorlet about buying the truck back after we had to buy another truck somewhere else, they offered us significantly lower than what we paid for it (which seems ridiculous since it was in the shop for wiring issues literally 2 days after buying it). I expressed my frustrations and the sales manager kept trying to convince me that was the best he could do. I told them I would have no choice but to leave a negative review and he said "That's just lashing out." And then added in that since what was wrong with the truck wasn't covered under warranty, we would be responsible for the repairs on a truck that broke down 48 hours after purchase. Be what it may- we had a terrible experience. I hope others have better luck with this dealership. I was extremely disappointed at how we were kind of screwed over in this deal.
