Truck was in for recall related work (door latches). Turn around time was excellent! The staff had forewarned me to allow up to 4 hours for the work...was out in an hour and a half!

Excellent experience
I drove from Thomasville GA to Columbia, KY to buy a new truck and received excellent customer service from Don before, during and after the sale. It was well worth the trip and I highly recommend Don Franklin Ford.

New car experience
I didn’t want to buy a new car. I remember the process as long and tedious, sales persons pushy, but my experience With John Roy ( my sales rep) and Don Franklin Ford in Columbia Ky were simple , easy and fast, and I drove my new car home. Thanks John for making this transaction so easy.

Incompetent Mechanics
Country dealership has no competition so why give acceptable service? Forty-five minutes each way to dealership, hour late starting after appointment, charged for service BUT PROBLEM REMAINS SAME AS BEFORE. Never use "technician" Cody Taylor - not qualified.

Horrible Experience
Found a truck online that we loved, contacted the dealership and worked out the deal over the phone. The dealership offered to deliver the truck within 2 hours of us since they would have a driver in the area. We gladly accepted to have the truck delivered. Upon arriving to look at the truck, we noticed the windshield was cracked, up to this point we had not been told of any damage. The delivery driver stated that he did not notice the crack when he had test drove it himself a few days before, and thought it may of happened during the transport. We were told to contact the dealership about the issue. We got back in contact with the salesman we had been dealing with and was told that they did not see any cracks upon their final inspection and would check on what could be done. Since the damage occurred while the vehicle was still theirs, we assumed they would do the right thing and fix the issue. In the mean time, we call to add the truck to our insurance policy, come to find out the truck has had a previous insurance claim of $16,000+ worth of damage in 2015. Once again, we were told the truck had never had any accidents or issues. After contacting the salesman again, we were told that the Car-fax on the vehicle was clean. We all know the Car-fax are always correct, right?! Days later we were told that the dealership is not going to do anything to fix the windshield, we were told "...unable to do anything about the windshield and it can be turned into the insurance company and that they will have it fixed without it affecting your insurance rates." Needless to say, we are very displeased with the experience. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!

Great people to deal with
Don Walbert made it easy to get in the vehicle we were searching for. Great car, great deal, great people to work with. Car salesmen have never been one of my wife’s favorite people. Don Franklin Ford in Columbia may have changed that. Thanks so much guys!

Drove 7 hours round trip for broken promise.
I drove 3.5 hours each way for a deal made over the phone. I told the salesman over and over I could not afford to drive 400 miles unless he was sure that he could get the deal. He assured me but when I gotthere he had the paperwork already drawn up for $1000 more than we said. He didn't even negotiate. The manager didn't apologize for my long drive. Nothing. Then he took all of my information for a loan application even after I told him I didn't want a loan. He told me it was for the title. Car title work doesn't need to know who your employer is and how much your rent is. ..He was new so I assume this is a practice taught to him by this dealership.
