Dealer lists delivery and freight on the sticker, discounts the sticker then adds the freight charge back in. Basically doubles the freight and delivery.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Purvis Ford is completely unprofessional, dishonest, and lacks basic customer service. I scheduled a SAFETY recall appointment for my SUV on Feb 17, 2025, at 8 AM. Per their advice, I dropped my car off the night before using their after-hours drop box. Little did I know this would be a complete waste of time. By noon the next day, my car had not even been moved. When I called, Brian claimed they had taken walk-ins that morning, pushing my scheduled appointment back. He assured me my car would be looked at in the afternoon. At 4:30 PM, Brian called, saying a technician inspected my sunroof but needed to take it apart. This was a blatant lie—my car had still not moved from where I parked it the night before. The next morning, my car remained untouched. When I confronted Brian, he had no explanation for how a technician could have inspected my sunroof without even moving the vehicle. Still, no one at Purvis Ford, including the Service Manager (Tony), bothered to take accountability or even return my call. By noon on Feb 18, I had enough. I called and told them to stop everything—I was coming to pick up my car. When I arrived, the cashier was rude and dismissive. Brian refused to even acknowledge me, let alone apologize. I waited to speak to Tony, but after wasting even more of my time, I had to leave due to work and parenting responsibilities. To this day, Tony has never returned my call. Additionally, their after-hours key drop box is NOT secure. Anyone paying attention could steal keys from the back, and there are no cameras monitoring it. The parking lot itself also has little to no surveillance, making it a security risk for customers. This dealership is an absolute joke. They wasted my time, blatantly lied, and failed to honor a safety recall appointment. I will never bring my car back here, and I strongly advise others to avoid Purvis Ford at all costs. If you care about honesty, customer service, and security, go somewhere else.

You did schedule a recall and tire rotation as you describe, and later you called back to add a sunroof noise concern. A technician did look at the sunroof, did not need to drive it, and told the advisor it would take a couple days to get the vehicle in as the headliner would need to be dropped to make the neccessary repairs. Brian did mention this to you and you allowed it as you stated that you had additional transportation. The next morning your vehicle had indeed not been moved as you were told that it would take a couple days.Our service emanager was not in the store yesterday, thus he would not have been available to talk with you. I will discuss with Brian and the cashier your concerns to make sure all customers are greeted and treated with respect. As for the security concerns you mentioned, we do not advertise the times the lot is covered by security personnel, but the night drop box and all lots are covered by security cameras. Please remember that video recordings are made 24 hours a day
After I posted my experience online, Purvis responded here with false information to try and save face: Major Security Risks so Customers Beware Their after-hours key drop box is NOT secure. 1. The bottom lock is broken, and I have pictures proving that anyone can pull it open and reach inside to steal keys. 2. Keys in the drop box have customers home addresses attached, meaning a thief could easily steal your key, get a new one made at Ford, and later steal your car from your driveway. Or, get your home address, use a signal relay and not take your key but have said relay on them to later steal your vehicle 3. The nearest security camera is 30+ feet away, positioned in a way that anyone standing at the drop box can block their activity from view. 4. There are little to no security cameras in the parking lot where vehicles are stored overnight. When I raised these concerns, Purvis Ford ignored the security risks and lied about surveillance coverage. As someone who works in IT, I know how to assess security risks, and this is a serious liability for customers. See pictures for yourself. 1. They claimed I scheduled my sunroof concern later, when in reality, I had a confirmed appointment for 8 a.m. before ever mentioning my sunroof. 2. They claimed a technician inspected my sunroof, but my GPS tracker proves my car was never moved from where I parked it the night before. 3. They said the Service Manager was unavailable, but when I was leaving, they paged him to the floor and told me to come back. So which is it? I have escalated this issue to Ford Corporate, the Better Business Bureau, and Purvis Ford’s leadership, including the General Manager, Service Manager, President, and Vice President. Still, no one has had the decency to call me back or issue an apology. Final Verdict Take Your Business Elsewhere Purvis Ford is a complete joke. They are dishonest, dismissive, and only focused on making money, not serving customers. They wasted my time, blatantly lied, and failed to honor a safety recall appointment. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid Purvis Ford at all costs. If you care about honesty, customer service, and vehicle security, go somewhere else. And to Purvis Ford: Do not try to cover this up. The facts, GPS data, security risks, and lack of accountability speak for themselves. Do better - I’m not going away so carry on with your damage control. Evidence is there to support my claims. The end!

Second time back for service and it was amazing. Manager Tony Mack went above and beyond to assist me with my 2022 F150. I’ve never had this kind of service from another dealership! It’s a pleasure going in for service especially when Tony steps up. I can’t praise the service at purvis ford enough. Thank you all for great service and kindness.

Your service department's communication with the customer is worst than terrible, I called 21+ times to get updated on the repair, and was only answered by the representative 3 times. Never called me back! I was quoted a Price of $6200.00 out the door, and when I went to pick the vehicle up the price was $8,200.00. NO ADJUSTMENT TO THE PRICE OR ANY COMPENSATION!

We have bought cars from PURVIS (along with all my children) for over 30 years. NO MORE ! We were on the list to purchase the new Dark horse mustang, in the Blue for a year. First on the list we were told. Well, the call came that 2 mustangs arrived, and I was beyond excited. John the manager tried talking us into getting the black one, I said from the get-go I wanted the blue. He kept saying that the resell value on the black would be better. It was not for resell value, I wanted the blue, I waited for the blue. We knew from time we were put in the list that blue may not come, and we had to accept that. But when we found out it was coming, I told him awesome that we would be down that day. He then sends me a text that he took a deposit on the blue one. What?!?!? He knew a year ago I was waiting on the blue one, but also knew that PURVIS did not know what colors they were getting. We were excited to find out that the blue was coming, and then find out that they took a deposit on it!!! I was livid. I asked him from day one about putting a deposit, and they told us that we have bought so many cars from them that we did not need to. Looking back, I should have made them take it. They knew what they were doing. They had a family member or friend that wanted it, even though we were on the list first. Never again will I purchase from them. I am in the middle of purchasing another mustang from Sheehy in Ashland, they will get my business from here on out.

Made an apt to see/test a used 2019 Mustang this morning. After driving almost 2 hours, Bruce the salesperson refused to even start the car and flat out said we don't do test-rides. I'm a senior citizen and was ready to make a deal but after being told I can test-ride it after I buy, no thank you. I almost had to persuade him to show me the car which was quite far away and a dismal walk in the rain. After the unfortunate experience with Bruce, I asked to speak to the used car manager and he reluctantly obliged. Also, their price was 8k over KBB CPO Dealer Retail price. Stay away from this most unwelcoming, unprofessional dealer.
