On 9/11/24 completed the finance app and request a

On 9/11/24 completed the finance app and request a transfer of a vehicle from the Laurel MD CarMax to the local CarMax in St. Louis. Paid $299 for the transfer, which was supposed to take less than a week. A week later, on 9/18 I get an email that explains that the transfer was canceled. No reason was given. Although the email assured I would be refunded the deposit in "a couple days" it is now 9/25/24 and I still have not found a car, and I have still not received my $299 transfer fee. How long should I have to wait for that? Ironically, the car is still listed as for sale at the Laurel CarMax!

Never responded after I reached out three times. I think their ads are fake and they don’t actually have the vehicles they advertise.

My overall experience was a 1 out of 10.

My overall experience was a 1 out of 10. I heard nothing but I'm sorry and excuses.I was paying for the vehicle outright. I was made to wait over an 1.5 hours and I had an appointment. They kept waiting on people who came in after me and got their deals done, with tags and key and out the door. I was asked to hard copy sign and esign more documents afterwards. Disorganized place

I have been trying to reach Laurels business office for

I have been trying to reach Laurels business office for hours. Was told I would receive a callback… no call back ever happened… called back reach someone named Iesha and was hung up on!!! I will not be purchasing another vehicle from this place again ! I was calling to get my maxcare checked into as my current vehicle is totaled !! No help! & to think I was going to go back there to purchase my next vehicle ! I will not !!!!

We had a great experience at Carmax of Laurel from start to finish, especially our salesman Stephen. He was not pushy, was able to answer all of our questions and was very patient with us!

Great company overall, but DON'T buy a car from Mohammed

Great company overall, but DON'T buy a car from Mohammed (Muhammed?). I have purchased a car from CarMax in the past and had a fantastic experience with them. However this time my experience was very bad. Mohammed was obviously being "fake nice", didn't listen to me when I asked to test drive alone and came along for the ride, he drove recklessly through the parking lot, was dismissive of my concerns regarding a couple of repairs that needed to be done ("it's a used car maam", "don't worry maam, eeeeverything will be just fine"), interrupted/talked over me throughout our interaction, wanted to rush through the sale, opened the sunroof while I was driving and getting sun in my eyes (I immediately asked him to close it as I didn't ask him to open it), returned the car to me with a badly broken side mirror (it was already broken initially, but he had obviously made it worse while the car was out of my sight and now the car is unsafe to drive), didn't fill the gas tank when he said he would, tried to sell gap insurance to me but didn't know how to explain what it was/didn't know what it was and kept talking nonstop to me while I read for myself about it even after I asked him to stop talking while I read, was rude to his coworkers (saying "come come" and waving business office women over to hurry and take my payment even though they were coming over anyway), and made personal and unprofessional comments on my salary while looking through my approved financing application. I now wish I would have stopped the sale and requested someone else to deal with, but I needed a car and I could tell that the one I was looking at was a good deal. Now some of my money is going to Mohammed, who will continue to treat other women customers poorly. He's been there for over 20 years and I can't imagine how! CarMax, get rid of this guy!

Carmax of Laurel was amazing from start to finish,

Carmax of Laurel was amazing from start to finish, especially our salesman Stephen. He was not pushy, was able to answer all of my questions and I was able to get the SUV that I wanted for the monthly payment I wanted also! I also got pre-approved for financing on their website beforehand which made the process even faster. Two hours and I had a new car that I love. I would recommend Carmax to everyone!! & take a look at the website before you go to narrow down your options because they have so many great vehicles for great prices!

Hidden damage on vehicle

BUYER BEWARE. Recently went to see a Toyota Rav 4 XLE Hybrid and according to autocheck there was no damage reported. I did a PPI and the mechanic also ran a carfax and there was disabling damage reported. Salesman did not think that this was an issue except it severely affects the future trade in value of this car. No effort to reimburse me for my time was made either after I discovered this borderline fraud. VIN number is: 2T3RWRFV3LW046497. If you see this vehicle avoid it, it's not worth it. The vehicle was also unaligned too, puts into question their "inspection process"

Don't waste your time

This is my 3rd time here this is really the worst carmax ever. I needed a new hubcap the lady told me days prior it would take 15 mins. I was here for 2 hours for a single hubcap to be put on. I wouldn't recommend this place to ny worst enemy. Out of my 3 times here everything was horrible just pitiful
